F2P WHEN?
Dude just buy it. It's well worth the price of admission at this point.
Wasn't that yesterday?
>It's well worth the price of admission at this point.
>at this point
>when there's only like six people left who play it
Not unless they include harambe. And no, not some gorrila as a homage to harambe, I want the ape himself in the game, bullet hole and all.
Yeah.
I don't think it did anything.
Player count doubled for a few hours. GAME SAVED.
and? That doesn't mean much when it can't even reach 800
Its a good start
Fuck off
but it's already dropped to less than half of what it was during the event.
Evolve has more players than battleborn on battleborn day
Well I now feel super sorry for them, I think they're being too greedy by selling characters on top of a retail price, if they're still that jewefied when the game goes f2p no one will bother with it.

Doesn't "reingnite" imply that there was interest to begin with?
lolololololololol

>I think they'll need to start paying people to even try their badass game.
or make it a free weekend
>Well I now feel super sorry for them
I would, but it's Gearbox. When's the last time they made a game worth playing? 2005?
"All characters temporarily unlocked!"
Wait, this isn't a f2p game right? I'd pay money to buy the game and not have access to all the characters normally?
And they wonder why this game had poor sales?
you could also grind in the single player to get the characters.
At least Overwatch has the decency to have everyone useable at the start
You had to buy the premium edition to unlock everything. If you didn't fork over another 30USD, you're going League of Legends style.
>The badassest of badass in-game events
Game deserved to flop.
It was. It had a MASSIVE 400 PLAYER boost, and it's already back down to the usual 300 or less average concurrent players.
Now post the numbers for Overwatch.
I doubt they're much more impressive given most people have moved on from that too.
I'll be surprised if they even top 10-20k at this point.
>help corporation make money
Nice
Never I hope gearbox is stupid enough to continue throwing money into dead game so that they can go out of business
Greatest marketing
...
>decency
you spelled "appeal to casual teenagers" wrong
I did not.
Battleborn advertised that you would be playing as a bunch of badasses but never mentioned that you had to grind for them or pay for them.
That is not decency
sure did but out of this and overcuck im kinda sad this one lost, developer wise
Yep, also
>used to have a retail job and had a Sony Accomination because of it
>basically you had to earn 3,000 points and you could get games on release day for 10bucks if they were still in stock
>3,000points is basically 20 learnings you have to do on how to sell a certain product
>battleborn had a learning worth 3,000points and only took 2 minutes to complete
>200 premium editions went up for sale on release night
>took over a week for them to sell out
>No Man's Sky took 30minutes to sell out of 500
>Deus Ex took less than 10 to sell out of 200
Even the people paid to shill it didn't want it at 1/8th the cost.
What didn't they make it free for a weekend or some shit like that? Anyway the game is terrible. And who thought it was good idea to make you grind for characters in a 60$ game?
