How
How do I even get to the end? Its making me go back to another point before in the game. Do I have to do everything again?
I don't know I can't put my finger on it. I was intrigued for most of the game but then when they wrapped everything up I just felt "that was it? I jumped through all of these timelines for that?"
Yeah it's kind of a non-ending. ZTD picks right up where it leaves off though.
Oh it does? Was going to ask about that but didn't know how spoilery the thread would end up being, gonna abandon thread and get playing
Should I even bother?
Yes. The storytelling is more disjointed and I didn't like it quite as much as VLR but it's worth playing for sure.
Definitely worth it.
Play through all routes to get the locks open, then jump back to the locked sections.
Just skip around on the flowchart.
If VLR was unsatisfying, you're gonna an hero after ZTD.
It's kind of worth it. ZTD is a terrible game and a terrible sequel, but it's the final part of the trilogy and there are some salvageable, interesting story bits.
999 should've ended with the blind guy sacrifice ending.
ZTD was only good for the memes
Here's hoping they don't fuck it up in the port.
And the best version of Morph Sorrow.

Bullshit, it should end on the downward slope.
Locks and jumping between timelines was an absolutely terrible mechanic and ruined the series
Seriously if I make a decision and go on a certain route I want to see that route play out, fuck right off

I was so fucking hyped during the beginning of the game when that started playing. That only made my dissapointment bigger when I reached the ending.
Fuck, that grimdark scene with Junpei's head after my first puzzle room, I really though I was in for a wild ride, not aliens and complex motives...
But locks are the whole point of the series. The Coffin Ending is literally just the game locking you out of the True end until you get Safe first.
Your fault for treating the routes as completely isolated from each other when they're all supposed to come together
And that is why the series went further and further into ridiculous metaphysical nonsense and in the end made zero sense and no decisions had any gravity because characters were just jumping between timelines making death and consequences completely trivial
All the games allow you to save all the good guys in the end so I don't know what the fuck you think you're on about.
So did Junpei end up hitting that or what?
As far as the epilogue files are concerned, probably
Probably the cliffhang.
If that is the case then you will not like ZTD.
If you are hitting a "to be continued" wall then that means you don't have enough information to proceed. You have to go to a different timeline to get the information.
Yeah, it started out interesting enough but some of the plot points were just stupid.
OH BOY YOU'RE IN FOR A SURPRISE OP
It really depends. I found VLR unsatisfying as well mainly because it ended on such a downer since you saw the future the world was heading to in the game while in ZTD the future was a lot more uncertain and there was a mood of hope making me feel like everything was going to work out.
