Why is nobody talking about this?

Why is nobody talking about this?

Because it's not out yet?

because it's confirmed to be garbage

>all party members are human
>most of them are trannies

LOL

This is truly the nu men era

because nobody actually likes PST, it's a meme.

Slick

Because it won't be out for 4 months.

I'd like some sauce on that
kinda hard to believe

Because it is a shitty cash in on something is shares nothing with, based on a crappy RPG, written by a massive idiot, with horribad mechanics

Oh fuck off, sonygger

>Buying coke regularly
Unless you live in Colombia and it's cheaper than drinking that's retarded

Never heard of it.

That doesn't even make sense now that it's coming out on PS4

Why is nobody talking about this?

...

The horse is the only decadent thing in that picture.

PST is my favorite game of all time and I was so hype for this, but it died the instant I saw actual footage :(

oh fuck

Becouse its a good game

nice

>“As with the original Torment we are telling a specific story, and that requires a specific character. The player will have a choice of genders in the game, and it will have some impact in the reactivity of the world,” McComb explained. “This is a billion years in the future, so I don’t think there will be much reactivity of people saying that you’re a woman, and you’re not capable of… there’s a billion years of gender equality.”

>Outside of the choice of gender, which will change the game in certain ways, you’ll not be able to make your own, personal character. “We’re not going to customize the looks. This is primarily an internal journey. It’s not dress-up,” McComb said.

no thanks

>I want the blandest experience possible: the post

Dropped

...

AoD is far too hardcore for your average RPG fan.

>mfw they released Dungeon Rats which is all about combat

>billion years in the future

I don't know why, but this phrase right here makes it sound boring.

No news since the that "we're totally not delaying the game for the console version, we swear" bomb dropped and Codex had a mental breakdown over it.

not really, it's just that people expect combat to be filler content they can plow through easily and age of decadence makes every combat encounter fight to the death. also, some people are so conditioned to rpg logic that they said goodbye to common sense.

>following a random person into an alley
>get jumped and killed
>blame the game because you expected loot or quest

...

To be fair PST companions would just be called edgy and fedoras today.

>american rpg writing past 2008
Not even once.

I can relate with edgy fedoras alright.

I don't like the idea of making most choices for a playthrough the character creation screen. If your character is not built for a precise playthrough, you won't be able to get through. The freedom of choice is nearly inexistant sadly to the point of it becomes a VN generator.

It is very frustrating honestly.

experience causes people to guard their reactions meaning personalities will always start off with either defensive or aggressive stance, almost never and open one, unless they have good cause to be that way because of some sort of personal security they hold

PS:T had appealing female characters. You can forget ever seeing those again in an American RPG.

nice

>delayed so it could be ported to consoles

...

The concept is cool: Earth and humanity, across the untold epochs, has died and reemerged frequently, culminating in Ages f unprecedented technological understanding, each different but indecipherable through the lens of time. In the setting, it's the advent of the Ninth Age, supposedly a start to a new glorious dawn for the world.

In practice, the tabletop is a lot like a less interesting Starjammer, with lots of familiar shit in different skins and a weird custom system from that Monte Cook guy. Torment here is meant to embody the potential of the game the way Torment: Planescape did for, eh, Planescape, but from the sound of it the games seems to miss the point, which is sad.

You realize you are giving him (you)s for an old joke he did not come up with himself?

>more sjw bullshit propaganda game

No thanks.

>billion years in the future
>gender still exists
>humanity hasn't become a collective hivemind supercomputer
Fucking dropped

Yes.

Haven't seen this joke before

nice bro

well, yes.
There are very little P&P games with that amount of punishment, and none of them can be considered popular or good.
So yes, the game is certainly not average.
And it has the utmost "that GM" attitude of making EVERYTHING you could fuck up and die at an almost guarteed instance of fucking up and dying.
A good "true" roleplaying game would make it obvious to the person you are playing that in this world that going into that alley is dangerous because bodies are found in those alleys all the time, i.e. make your character think to themselves what a stupid idea that is.
A "hard" RPG will simply let you do it.
AoD is not a "good" RPG.

KEK
never going to buy
never going to play
fuck monte cook the cock cannibal
fuck shitsidian
