the japs are pretty fun imo
large squads of elite samurais and cannoneers is just MMM

Anyone here played rise of nations? What are your opinions on that game? I think they should have added walls to the game.

i remember the last time i played AoE II all you had to do is spam mangonels and everything on foot or horseback would die instantly

Without support they get butt fucked if the person sees it before you get a clean hit. It's really not hard to dodge when you can just click one of the many formations that spreads your group.

Just build light cav everywhere. drown your enemies in a sea of cavlary

Maybe cav archers. Sending a single light cav into a group of catapults usually results in half the catapults killing each other.

To the best of my knowledge, that's the way it was intended to be played. I never heard of any Ensamble Studios staff saying anything about eSports or such nonsense that Bleezard caved into.
