> use mod manager > 100 mods > game runs poorly, constant CTDs > use all sorts of fixes, configs etc > still sucks
then >get pissed and reset config, set every graphics setting to max > increase grids to load just for the heck of it > game works perfectly for 3 hours without a single CTD and very minor hitchs
SAY IT WITH ME IT
Dylan Sanders
>bought Skyrim and spent tens of hours on modding but never played it because I can't mod for shit Why has no one released a sensible modpack?
The things that a modpack should unquestionably have: >various options for improved graphics >prevent obvious texture tessellation in large sections of bare terrain >options to make Skyrim play like a normal RPG rather than making drops and enemy stats depend on your level
The things a modpack should almost certainly have: >new terrain features >better ambience and weather >combat AI improvements, also affecting how enemies will engage in fights (so a powerful enemy won't focus wholeheartedly on a weak player, and a powerful player can scare off pesty brigands) >combat where blocking and dodging is more effective if done right
The things a modpack should maybe have: >khajiit having paws rather than weird feet, that's always bothered me >more lethal combat >nicer foliage
The things a modpack should have as extra downloadables: >non-sexual character model/texture improvements >sexual character model/texture improvements
I don't think this is a controversial selection at all, and all these mods exist, but no one's compiled them all.
Wyatt Johnson
Did you even make a bashed patch?
Dylan Adams
/vg/ has a decent compile of mods that all work together and how to install them
Gabriel Jones
Like I've been saying all along. It just works.
Samuel Thomas
Not anywhere obvious. Also, I'd be surprised if those people of all people managed to actually make a mod compilation that is actually unquestionably good, last time I asked them for a mod compilation I got idiotic garbage.
Daniel Perez
>mod manager All you're doing is introducing another point of failure.
Isaac Long
What should I do with these two? I want to make Skyrim great again.
Adam Green
it's just that some mods are very easy to fuck up installing manually but yeah you have a point
Nathan Bell
>not anywhere obvious Try the first link in the OP, dumbshit Look I'm feeling inclined just to tell you not to bother, half because Skyrim is shit but also half because you're clearly too fucking stupid to be trusted with a guide that does't just prepackage everything for you
Matthew Baker
thats what mod organizer is for
Christian Collins
Make them have sex with each other.
Nicholas Lewis
I'm not seeing any compilations. And downloading them all individually is way harder, not because of downloading them all individually but getting them to all work nicely together.
Though Mod Organiser works in such a way that it takes out half the difficulty of making mods work together.
Zachary Miller
I meant mod organiser, when I tried it the nexus mod organiser seems terrible in comparison. I've never done a bashed patch before, but I might try it, don't think I need it so I may be setting myself up for a "if it ain't broke dont fix it" failure but ill see how it goes.
Sebastian Turner
Give them a choice of death or sucking your cock for their freedom. Whoever takes you up on the sucking your cock offer should be killed. They are weak and don't deserve to live or lead.
Xavier Gray
>i cant find a button on the bar Okay bro just don't worry about it
Angel Peterson
>bashed patch that's only necessary if you have multiple mods which change leveled lists
Xavier Brooks
That's a good idea. I'd kill whoever accepts the offer only after he's done sucking, though.
Kevin Martinez
Misunderstood hack or overrated genious?
Lincoln Adams
A man who once enjoyed videogames but now controlled by/turned into jew.
Charles Sanders
Are people that want "modpacks" the PC version of entitled consoleniggers?
Caleb Butler
I torrented special edition and have to admit, I've enjoyed playing the game without mods.
Jaxon Rivera
>Be me >Pirate Skyrim >Install 200 mods >Play game for 10 minutes >Realize a polished turd is still a turd >Open GOG >Buy Witcher 3 >Play it for 200 hrs with 0 mods.
Jack Bell
>be me yes my Redditor friend. You are indeed you and everyone already knows this.
Jaxon Morris
Redditors suck Bethesda's dick and love Skyrim.
Grayson Torres
>babbies complaining about skyrim modding fonv modding is the real deal fucking archive invalidation refuses to work on mod organizer
Brody Smith
Oh, you traded in a turd for a pile of flaming dog shit. Nice choice.
Bentley Cruz
they also love Cucker 3
Nolan Wood
>150+ mods installed >runs like shit, CTDs often >game still sucks >a literal polished turd >stop playing >mad that I wasted dozens of hours modding and playing this trash >tfw the TES curse got me again
Owen Morgan
follow a fucking guide you mong. skyrim is literally the easiest it has ever been to heavily mod an es game.
Dominic Ross
CHECK YOUR MOD ORDERS USE BOSS AND SHIT LEARN TO COMPUTER HOLY SHIT
Kevin Perry
I did, but a guide only gets you so far.
Grayson Cox
I don't understand TES fans. All the time you waste modding your turd into a playable state. Why not just play some other games? There are plenty of good rpgs out there that don't require any modding?
Why mod any game? You are giving the devs an excuse to be lazy and deliver unfinished products.
Robert Edwards
>There are plenty of good rpgs out there
Yeah, but no good sandbox RPGs.
Oliver Morgan
Story-based rpgs are better than sandbox rpgs. What you even do in sandbox rpgs? Just mindlessly roam and kill stuff? How is that fun.
