Yeah that bothered me too. As much as I loved Battlefront, it did skimp a little bit in areas.

Dark Troopers should have been more robotic in movement, they should have modeled some more guns instead of reusing the basic stormtrooper rifles. Honestly annoyed me a bit that they reused assets so much, and in non canon ways.

But it's so minor, Battlefront is honestly a god tier title. Just could have used some more budget for more models and animations I guess.

Just bought both of these yesterday. When I try to load up Xwing vs Tie Fighter, and Xwing Alliance it says it needs a joystick to play. Can I really not play them with a mouse?

Also the 1998 versions of Xwing and Tie fighter need a joystick too. What is the difference between them and the originals or the special edition versions?

Pretty much every Star Wars game released during the 90's to mid 2000's was literally god tier and most of them were even better than the films.

Honestly I like the Star Wars games much more than the films anyways. The original and the Empire are the only truly good stand alone films anyways, the rest rely on EU knowledge and are just average tier films that are held up because they add knew things to an already amazing universe. If there was no EU, I don't think the Star Wars films would be nearly as interesting without all the backstory and lore associated with it all.

Probably half the Star Wars games are better than every film except maybe Empire and even then some are better than Empire. Some of the books were good too but I haven't read that much Star Wars books though.

What I am saying is the majority of quality in Star Wars actually came form the EU, without it, you've just got 2 good films and a bunch of average to bad films. I've always thought the films themselves were the most overrated part of Star Wars. Always enjoyed the EU way more.

I still love Star Wars, the cinematography and visuals are still good yet the story isn't as strong. Ren is the only character I'm interested in honestly and since I gave Rebels a shot I really like it. Lack of games definitely sucks especially since Wreck it Ralph didn't have a kart game, I'm not getting into Lego Star Wars because it's pointless to release them by movie considering 1 and 2 had both trilogies then complete saga was released.

I wish The Empire/First Order had sympathetic stormtroopers and Finn was wasted potential after the intro scene.
