New to sims? Definitely not. Get Thrustmaster flight hotas x and be happy. When you realize that flight sims are actually for you, get something more expensive, but honestly, you don't have to. I've been flying with hotas X for 4 years and kick ass in multiplayer. It's even fit to fly a chopper.
I-Is there some kind of custom made controller that can accommodate all those buttons?
But a keyboard at your side works perfectly well, too.
You click those with the mouse button in the cockpit. But every single one is bind-able to your controller/keyboard.
ARMA III
Not if you have any plans of buying helicopters for DCS. Unless you are willing to mod it. The centering is very strong on this joystick, which isn't good for choppers.
it costs 400 dollars so it has to be good

Ace combat and bf3/4

BF2 armored fury maps
I'm looking at joysticks now. Want something cheap, just to play tie fighter/xwing alliance. Is the logitech extreme 3d pro the best low cost joystick? A lot of places seem to say so.
Fuck yeeeeeeaaaah
F2P MMOs
You'll got all the BR? BR! you want.
Yea bro yeaaaaa
This.
Hotas X is amazing entry level flight throttle combo
It triggers me so fucking much when a game or movie has A-10 without BRRRRT.
Fucking Stargate Atlantis had one episode where they just used some stock .50 cal firing sound effect.
Daily reminder that belkan clay sucks.
Careful what you say, they might get angry and nuke themselves seven times.
No.
Thrustmaster T-16000M is the best that's easily available.
Defender Cobra M5 is great too but not as easily available, probably the best cheap option if you plan to get a throttle eventually.
T Flight Hotas X or 4 if you want a throttle for cheap.
Is VR any good in flight sims?
The immersion and head tracking sounds cool but I'm not so sure whether the resolution will be good enough.
Plus not being able to see the keyboard will suck for when every key is bound to something.
...
I just want to vouch for Hotas X as well.
Please don't spend $200+ for a stick/throttle if you've never even used one before and aren't sure if you'll be willing to drag it out and use it.
I'd go as far as saying it's a solid impulse purchase at $50 to prevent you from considering the more expensive ones every time you think about it.
