Except the overworld made accessing actual races incredibly tedious. Doing races on the fly while in open world didn't warrant all the time i wasted commuting.
Unlocking new races behind upgrading your car to look atleast THIS cool (and with this cool i mean clowncar levels of retarded) was unintuitive and confusing too.
When you have customization let the player decide what they want to do instead of having to spend money on atleast one unwanted child to progress thanks to an "objective aesthetics" system.
