What are the BEST stealth games in terms of gameplay and mechanics?

The Japanese levels in Hitman Silent Assassin.

Pic unrelated?

>guy posts a picture of a wall
>user gets into autistic screeching mode

its just a fucking wall, dude, fuck me.

>the open snowfield with snipers
yeah no

I don't like how people keep posting a random background from a video game either, user. It has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

I think he's upset that to this day he still can't figure out what's hiding in the wall.

I can't either but I'm hoping someone will figure it out.

What is it about a brick wall that could cause so much autism in one person?

Autism.

It's a first person screenshot from MGS3. MGS3 is a stealth game. This thread is about stealth games.

kek, thanks mods

It's Loss.

Tenchu, fite me.

How the fuck do you recognize something like that?

The old Splinter Cell games

I played the original Snake Eater lots of times, where you were supposed to make heavy use of the first person view since you didn't have freelook camera.

I played Subsistence a lot, too. I also used first-person a whole bunch, and can instantly recognize that brick texturing.

Thief 2, probably.

hello?

I have been enjoying Styx: Master of Shadows quite a bit. Gotten genuinely fucking mad playing on the hardest difficulty. So I'd say it's worth checking out.

How can you tell that from just a screenshot of a wall?

>not being autistic

I tried it but the movement felt so weird. I really should give it another try

Classic, might be the best first person stealth game
