I doubt it

Gay horn guy, not only is his personality trash but two-handed warriors are also trash. Serah at least was good combat wise and her ultimate was literally broken at launch and could be used back to back infinitely.

I seriously dont understand why they'd deliberately make something so fucking offputting

>Slouches
>Retarded weapon
>Saggy stomach tits
>Literally everything about her face
>That voice

...

Garrus

Because you completely miss that the point of her character is to represent the common people that you never interacted with in DA1 or 2. The people who can't do anything about the Blight or Mage/Templar conflict in Kirkwall and are just trying to live their lives.

> Back then it was called "good graphics"

>Dyke
>Ugly
>Insufferable personality
>Humour is EY SO RANDOM HUEHUE
Well, I would put Gay Bull as another annoying faggot. But yeah, Bioware games are full of garbage characters.

Personally I believe she was a character meant to be kicked out of your inquisition. It's clear she has too many selfish tendencies and her true colors are that she's just a fucking bandit preying on rich people instead of at trying to find a diplomatic approach at least for the inquisition's sake. And how fucking dare she still continue her bandit ways WHILE being part of your inquisition.

>but I do it for the people, all the people
Fuck off Sera, you don't deserve to go down in history as a hero with your lies.

> You never interacted with
Nigger, you what. Those games were full of regular people who you regularily interacted with. But if Sera really represents what the common folk is like, Solas was right all along and Thedas should be destroyed.

But that's wrong you little shit

no breeches/10

How does it feel being so wrong user?

mfw wanna hatefuck her so bad

what's wrong with me

Nothing user, do it.

She has the best romance in Inquisition and her specialization is OP as fuck.

Sera ias a shitty tumblr character, sure, but I'd argue le ferrous bovine is worse.
>Turned himself in to have his mind "rewired" because he recognized some of the shit he believed in was against the Qun
>He is the exact same afterwards
>Becomes a Ben-Hassrath
>Hangs out with a tranny
>Is pansexual
>Still claims to follow the Qun while constantly doing shit that is against the Qun
I still fucked him though because he's bara-bait, and because I get to force him to watch his Jennifer Hale trying to do a man's voice friends die.

Tyranny is actually rather bad with companions. Not in a sense they're offensively bad, but they're just utterly average and forgettable.

I see your point. I liked him a lot more though because he was one of the most straight forward characters with you and always had your back.

Skyrim looked like ass the moment it came out.

Sera is tumblr turned on itself.

>claims she's about high ideals and shit
>if you push her enough she reveals she enjoys the life and is doing it for the kicks
Tumblr is just too stupid to realize what she really represents.

Hmpf!

Can you romance the monster thing?

Jesus, vanilla skyrim characters are so fucking ugly

I NEED AMMO

I always wonder why I even accept Qara. Then I remember she throws a mean fireball.

You know, I think Sera would have been fine if there was an actual end goal to her character arc.

I liked how there was an actual conflict over the divide between what she believed and what your mission was revealing about the falsehoods of your inquisition's faith. But once you argue with her over the "greater good" she tells you to piss off and it isn't really brought up again.

No genuine falling out as things escalated, or final character development regarding one another's views, it's just kind of dropped and everyone eats cookies.

what is it about this facial structure that actually makes me sick to my stomach

>Anyone worse, either in DA
Iron Bull. Vivienne. Shale.

>filing your spell slots with anything other than variations of Isaac's Missile Storm
Sorcerers truly are the worst.

Anders in Dragon Age 2

So who was in your party during DAI?

Blackwall, Varric and Dorian for me

>Vivienne
I thought she was more wasted potential than anything. She's supposed to be this big political player, and she doesn't really influence the story much at all, outside of trying to backtrack on half of what DA2 established about the Mage Templar conflict.

Then when she told me to have the Inquisition vouch for Cassandra as the new Divine, before she ended up taking the position. Wasn't sure how or why that worked.

There should have been a Landsmeet situation at the end where it turns out she was playing politics behind your back the whole time, but she just wins the position off-screen.

Dorian, Bull and Cassandra, I like Varric as a character but I prefer having two warriors to tank for my mage and Dorian

I didn't know it was possible to be this underage on Sup Forums, please wait till you are 18

Anders was hilarious as a rival (and hilariously depressing coming from Awakening), or even as a Sarcastic friend.
I don't think it compares in any way to the bullshit creator-worship some faggots like Bull got in Inquisition.

>Shale
Well sure, if pigeon crushing jokes and homage to HK-47 isn't your thing.

Varric and Cassandra were my go-to squad.

Solus or Dorian usually rounded out the numbers.

Whether or not he's underage is irrelevant when he's right.

Cole was even worse

>mfw i can fap to goblin girls, but not to this garbage shit character.

Morte is easily the worst companion.
Terrible concept, terribly executed, terribly written, terribly drawn, terribly voiced in the few places where he was, and a terrible character in game for the purpose of gameplay.

Just overall shit. The game would've been superior if he was replaced by some generic crypt guard that helps you out and then dies just before the tutorial is over.

Cole was a ditz, but I thought his story had one of the more satisfying conclusions in Inquisition.

It was one of the only choices that made me feel like there wasn't a clear right or wrong answer in regards to how his character developed.

solas varric and cassandra were the only bearable characters

And another notably terrible companion, work of the same writer. The backstabber with a heart of gold. Le quirky girl next door cutie cock tease acting all playful, then all innocent the next second, despite obviously being a street gang whore and literally having evil in her genes. Completely out of place and doesn't follow the rules for demons in her own setting.

>using his two handed abilities
R E A V E R

R

Varric, Cassandra and Blackwall. They are the only rounded persons in the inquisition with Culen & Josephine

>Varric
Fucking why? Bianca quickly gets outclassed by all of the longbows and daggers you'll find or craft and can never keep up.

I like Varric as a character, but he's really only worth using as a party member in DA2.

>minmaxing in a story driven game
>leaving out a character you like to gain +5% party damage

m8...

>daggers you'll find or craft and can never keep up.

So why the fuck do I keep finding daggrs with 400 dps?

It's not even a case of minmaxing. Bianca gets absolute shit in terms of upgrades to make it a worthwhile weapon, and since it's the only ranged weapon Varric can use that's even worse.

I don't know what the fuck BioWare was thinking with Bianca's upgrade path in DA:I when it was perfectly good in DA2.

Same with PoE, most of them have something going for them(except for the boring average eskimo dwarf and that fishman with a shit eating grin). But in the end they're just lacking, probably has to do with how badly they're integrated in your adventures.

Is that first punk something more than she seems?
As in, is she some spy sent to make sure you don't ruin someone's plans or is she just a fighter?

Based Cassandra, Varric, and either Cole or Solas.

I see what you mean, but for me that wasted potential just turned into hypocrisy about her character. The first character I played was a fellow Circle Mage and I was expecting to get along with her really well, and then I took one dialogue option that pointed out that not every mage's experience was as positive as hers, and she just completely disregarded what I had said and demanded me do what she wanted anyway.
Add to that the fact that she claims to be a political heavyweight while offering literally no good reason to keep her, and the fact that you can't tell her to fuck off after you do, and I've never recruited her again.

That's the problem, though, it's like whoever wrote her had only the vaguest idea about what made HK so good. He was hilariously and inventively psychopathic, but he was always polite to the player and he had his amusing syntax on top of that. Reacting to his horror at benevolent actions was as enjoyable as receiving praise for being a total bastard, and he had that whole connection to the player character as well.
Shale conversely does nothing but constantly bitch and moan at you and threaten you.

>muh see you at the bar x1000
>muh overload

>shale
She has pretty good banter and her story is interesting, only bad thing is incessant "comical" bird hate but understandable since she constantly got shat on while inactive

But Sera (I think that was her name) was fun to have around.

I shitfted them constantly to get most of the banter, but it was mostly blackwall/cassandra, varric, and solas/dorian

Cass, Dorian, and Sera.

Dorian and Sera bring humor while Cass purges demon scum.

Made me read and smirk so you get a 5/10

>he doesn't like Neeshka
I don't even care that this is bait. Delete this right now or I will fucking fight you irl

>Solas
>not rounded

Bioware's retarded design decisions aside, the other anons are right in that it's trivially easy to carry two party members or even the whole party with a decent build, so there's no reason not to take him along. I never had a problem with it personally; he didn't contribute as much damage as a dedicated DPS but I relied on him far more for inflicting conditions, and the upside to having to rely on crafting his best upgrades means you can shoot for Silverite or Stormheart early; get a good schematic and you're set.

ohh mother fucker I though you were talking about the train for a minute there.

Which is weird when you consider there are two special snowflakes there.

> inviting gay niggas to party

Cole, Varric, and Cass, the only 3 decent people out of everyone.

It depends entirely on your reputation. If they're not loyal both Barik and Verse can betray you.

Oh, don't get me wrong. She had good bants and her story was really interesting, especially with how she discovers it, but she was so personally insufferable as a character I still couldn't stand her.

Garrus' only problem is that he constantly wastes his Adrenaline Rush by using it first every single fucking encounter.

The second one reminds me of Kapkan from seige.

Atleast Dorian doesnt flaunt his faggness around like a fucking flag

This whimsical angle Bioware always wants to add to their characters is the worst.

>serious straight-faced warrior woman
>MUH SMUT LITERATURE
I suppose they see it as humanizing the character, but it really just comes off as watering her down.

To be fair

You wouldnt supposed to find out that she reads porn. It was probably a secret

Like my trap fetish

Every tough soldier needs a humanizing quality, and its a common trope in all of fiction.
What would you have her unexpected out of character hobby be?

Or they can go the other way, and have this disciplined straight edge soldier actually keep a cruel streak and be a total sadist when not on duty.

Dorian is a bro.

That scene was so cringey. Should have toned it way down, it twisted her personality completely

What about Morrigan in Origins?

what the fuck is that?
cropped porn?

>Dragon Age Cisquisition
>an ugly criminal dyke with XD le randum humor
>degenerate hypocrite who's apparently fine with girls who want to be boys but thinks the government should dictate exactly what you can and can't do with your life
>the most hardcore fag stereotype imaginable, his loyalty mission is based around his dad trying to Pence the gay out of him

Throughout playing this game all I could think of is how offended I would be if I liked dick.

Maybe.

Also

Origins
Loghain/Allistair Zevran and Doggo I named Argus

DAII
Varric Merrill and Avelline

I liked Cole, he was really dreamy and like half-there and I enjoyed having a fade creature with me.

>What would you have her unexpected out of character hobby be?
Reading military books, long walks on battlefields and riding her man from dusk to dawn

> not using dog mod
> all that wasted banter
Morrigan, Alistair and Sten was always the masterace combo

But those are all expected from a serious disciplined by the books soldier.
You need something to make her a human rather than a rank.

Either something to make her relatable as a good person, or something to make her easy to hate as a cruel monster.
Else she is a robot there to fill a role and has no character.

>Dorian
>Shit

Wew

I think most people used those three, because they were a balanced party regardless of what the protagonist plays, and they are the first people you meet, and they form a triangle of character quirks when it comes to dialogue.

>You need something to make her a human rather than a rank.
Being a soldier is human, everything else is just wankery

>MUH ANARCHY

When your character's personality can be described by their job, they are a shit character and you are a shit author.
Thankfully you are not in charge of writing, else Bioware's quality would go down even further. At least they are attempting to write humans.

Man you would be a really shit writer

Or just a boring person general

>12:21:48

Nice phone posting, Gaider.

>Sera is bad

She's pretty cool desu

Should I play the DA trilogy or BG:EE?

0-4: DA
5-9: BG

>damage control

autism

If you haven't played Dragon Age trilogy, you really should.
All issues aside, its a solid game. We are just mad its not as good as it could've been.

Bull is at least as bad as Sera, if not worse

People who say sara's the worst companion are either shit posting or never played the game but herd she was 'tumblr'.

Ignoring that game-play wise she's just broken (lightning flask and killing spree are hilariously strong).
Her character traits are interesting; not caring about elven culture is realistic and a nice juxtaposition to solas and merril who are the elfiest elves ever. The whole red jenny thing because she wants to 'protect' people turning out to be a desire for excitement is more honest then you'd expect from bioware.

The only shit things about her are that its not explained why she's a lesbian and her views on the mage/Templar thing are wildly inconsistent, it would be nice if you could make her side with you or something then just wanting to do whatever seems like a good idea at the time.

Compared to Carver who's an asshole no matter what you do or say and Vivienne who's an actual uncle tom who wants to enslave mages so she can keep personal power.

Nigger I am playing it right now

All of her belief dont fucking matter if I cant handle her fuckin personality for 5 minutes

>posts with trip
>deletes it after

Lol

>black person does well
>uncle tom

I swear to god, I'll never understand this fucking nonsense.

If all common folk are like Sera the world deserves to burn.
