>Guy trainer with Eevees
Reported.

Work culture is fucked

...

Damn

>Not catching the free Yamask
casuals

This fella probably ate his soul if his dex entry is anything to go by.

>Pokemon
>Using cars

Asked for it

why didn't he strap up his shit?

Where does it say machamp was driving?

To remind their audience that if you're still playing this game as an adult then you done fucked up

>Gary had an Eevee
>implying Eevees aren't the shit

I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out why we didn't get a new Eeveelution this time around.

Read again, friendo.

strapping up your shit doesn't protect you from car crash cases that involve 4000 pounds of metal smashing your fucking face in.

because we got one last gen, eeveelutions are every other gen.

Most trainers will end up like this instead of becoming a famous superstar.

meant the op

Gamefreak have been doing this shit for a while now. I quite like it. Some even make me really think,

What the hell is 'work culture'

Nowhere does it say it was a car accident.

And RBY to GSC is a one-time exception?

I mean, I guess, but man.

Actually the opposite of this. They know that their audience is growing up and, at the ripe old age of 27, wondering if there's more to life than just Pokemon.

There isn't.[\spoiler]

Think about it, GSC was the first time they added Eevee evolutions.

>''accident''
>''crash''
>''other man caused it''
gee wilkers I wonder what happened.

When a company or organization tries to get the lower level employees to be enthusiastic and care about their jobs.

They use Machamp in construction and other blue collar work, could be a work accident.

Holy shit, Pokemon has better writing than Final Fantasy now.
How the JRPG genre has fallen.

A crash?

Come on man, you're just being obtuse now for the sake of it.

Gamefreak have been moving away from cross-generation evolutions for a while now, excluding Sylveon we haven't had one since Gen IV. And I'm pretty sure the only reason they made Sylveon was to help introduce people to Fairy type, I can't see why else they'd only introduce a single eeveelution instead of the regular two.

there's no pattern, shut up.

>Bummed around as a cockfighting hobo in his youth
>Found a girl, got married, has a kid
>Got the best job he could with his "experience" so that he could provide a stable income and home for his family
>This is somehow bad
It's not like he didn't cruise around in his younger years. When you get older, believe it or not, most people want to settle down and start a family.

anyone that ends up a store clerk at that age is a sad person, especially one who was a trainer before, it's not like old people don't have trainer-related jobs, look at wattson and Agatha

>no pattern
>gen2, new eeveelution
>gen3, none
>gen4, new eeveelution
>gen5, none
>gen6, new eevelution
>gen7, none

He doesn't seem like he regrets his experience.

>pounding away at a register with a smile on my face
>I used to be a trainer you know

How so, he has a family he cares about, he's got a stable income, and he's working toward retirement. What about him makes you think he's sad?

>till he made a methaphor about getting married and became a meme.

>Young trainer comes in
>Start a friendly conversation based on a mutual experience
Literally Socializing 101, I wonder how much Sup Forums gets out

also all the other eevee trainers in this sidemission have tragic stories too:

flareon trainer is retired
>vaporeon trainer cleans windows
>jolteon trainer literally has alzheimer's
>espeon trainer rots away at the power plant
>umbreon trainer has health issues
>glaceon trainer cooking and waiting for son to return
>leafeon trainer...got a crap load of plastic surgery
>Sylveon trainer dies

Why did you put this on Sup Forums instead of /vp/?

That passive aggressive remark about having such a shitty job at an old age, mentioning how he has a smile on his face, reminiscing about his childhood dreams.

Hell if anything he's warning the little lad to try and not end up a failure like him.

Also

>Guzma was a good trainer but never good enough to be the very best like no one ever was
>always got silver and bronze in anything in everything he did
>his dad beat him with golf clubs because he was never good enough
>until he finally got old enough where he could beat up his dad and left home
>learned the only way to get anywhere in life is by beating people up
>took in all the loser kids that are just like him to try teach them his ways

pokemon took a dark turn that nobody ever expected

Thinking that you can't discuss Pokemon on Sup Forums is like thinking you can't discuss any game that has generals on /vg/ and /vr/.

To remind kids that life is not an adventure. It may seem as much when you are young but life will beat you down and you will become a slave to something. Forced to give up that adventure and fun.

>hala's son/hau's father ran away from home and left them all when hau was a young boy
>someone in the iki town hall talks about how when hau was very young, he saw hala raging "for some reason" and was so terrified by the old man's expression of anger that he was inconsolable
>ever since that day, hala has always tried hard to smile and be happy and friendly and never show any kind of anger
>person feels that hala is always holding something of himself back from hau
>hala had to put on a brave face, repress all of his negative feelings and ignore the grief at losing his son, in order to raise his grandson to be well-adjusted

I really don't know hoe you're assuming any of that, I think that's a projection of your own pessimism.

did you ignore

Why these new pokemon games are filled with feels

>that guy that literally gives you protection when you watch fireworks with shauna
gamefreak sure was subtle about that forced romance

Game never says his parents beat him for not getting god medals. He just felt ashamed of always being a fuckup.

is legit though.

Should I get SM now or wait and see if there will be a Switch port?

ALIMONY

there's a golf club used by his dad that's strongly implied to have hit Guzma's head.

the latter.

But what if you're a girl? Girls don't have penises.

Is there more like this in the game?

Coulda been a bicycle crash

...

>Machamp wanted that lady for himself.

I think the lesson is "Don't train Eevees shits cursed yo"

Oh fuck I've trained all the Eevees what will happen to me?

Well shit, I've been to that graveyard, but I haven't seen that woman? Explain?

Why does this look so good? My game looks like shit.

it's emulated+no outlines patch

His dad said "he was the one who got beat."

I think Guzma may have knocked him on his head with the clubs before running away. His parents said he was rebellious.

3DS Emulator? Goddamn, how long have I been away from here? My mind is blown.

Tell me more.

Mind you. It is not the 3ds emulator that good. It just pokemon game are really high polygon but not texture.

It runs at silky smooth 6 frames per second

Niiiiiice. Niiiiiice. Niiiiiice. Niiiiiice. Niiiiiice.

POKED

So they've made zero progress since last year?

I want to cum inside Gardevoir.

Second visit. Not even post game, just go back after the grand island trial. It's kind of dumb, since there's really no incentive to re-explore everywhere so soon.

can't wait for this scene in HD.

Oh, okay. Gonna visit there later.

Shoot your goo, my dude

Hm, well it's not like it goes away.

I think it was pretty smart. You can start collecting Zygarde cells at the very start of the 2nd island, so it's pretty much perfect timing to add a few extra events to the first island.

Olivia>Mallow.

Confirmed for dead children pokemon

...

What pokemon?

Probably Phantump

The pokedex is really messed up this time around.
>Gengar: Should you feel yourself attacked by a sudden chill, it is evidence of an approaching Gengar. There is no escaping it. Give up.
>Gengar: It apparently wishes for a traveling companion. Since it was once human itself, it tries to create one by taking the lives of other humans.

>Primeape: It has been known to become so angry that it dies as a result. Its face looks peaceful in death, however.

>Cubone: The skull it wears on its head is that of its dead mother. According to some, it will evolve when it comes to terms with the pain of her death.

The first sentence in Cubone's entry was already in previous games but not the latter.

>Machamp not stopping both cars with it's sheer strenght
shit mon

This is some literal edge we're having here.

that would only end up in Machamp shishkebabing both drivers.

it's the old ''Superman stopping a falling plane'' scenario.

These bastards know exactly what they're doing.

>Pokemon: SCP Edition

>>Gengar: It apparently wishes for a traveling companion. Since it was once human itself, it tries to create one by taking the lives of other humans.
>mfw porn predicted this exact same scenario before the game came out

Literally my moms arrow to the knee

I noticed that the writing took a much darker turn with ORAS. All the shit with Professor Cozmo's dad at Sea Mauville hit particularly hard, since I was going through a divorce when those games came out.

Hell, Sea Mauville in general was one of the better things that came out of ORAS lore-wise.

which is jarring compared to the rest of the game treating you like a child.

I always thought Pokemon just kind always existed or something not that they were mutated people and dead people.

Japanese have a lot of retarded superstitious crap like that which is why this stuff appears in the games.

there's a pokemon in gen 5 that's like a ghost of a human with its face turned into a mask.

Sun seems a lot more brutal than Moon. I read this yesterday. People are actually dying.

Guzma is Ash except his Dad abandoned him instead of beating him.

Is that Mimikyu? In the anime it makes Meowth start hallucinating about pokepoon.
