The sun and all other planets orbit the center of our solar system and because the Sun has 99.8% of the mass in our solar system the center of out solar system is very close to the center of the sun leaving the Sun with a very small orbit compared to the other planets.
The only way the Sun can actually fall out of the orbit is if a body with much higher mass then our Sun gets close to our solar system and destroying the balance of the system.
