Skell space exploration and combat
Could you imagine your skell wrecked in space sending you into a plummet back down to the planet?
>More skell customization
>Let me take whoever I want on missions
>a more interesting story
>no multiplayer garbage
>different continents, I don't want to see the others again, or better yet, travel to Mira's moons
>more xenos

I hope you at least hacked your wii u so you can do this

A direct sequel for Xenoblade instead

>A rework of the whole giant robot combat having it stand as a watered down and more simplistic form of combat after you've already got overdrive combos and shit on ground combat was fucking dumb. It should be an expansion of the ground combat or at least be as in depth if not more so.
>Cosmetic weapon slots in addition to the cosmetic armor slots
>More giant robots, more giant robot customization options, and giant robots actually being an improvement over your character on foot. It was really silly that for the majority of the game you're stronger than your giant robots fighting on foot because of overdrive combos, and then for that short window toward the end when you first get your lv50 giant robots and the robots are stronger, but then you reach post game and can start doing unlimited overdrive on foot and the giant robots never really catch up outside absolutely painstaking OHK super weapons builds but even then they still can't compete with the raw DPS of a player on foot doing an infinite overdrive.
>A composer who isn't a hack
Ass/thigh slider
>A coherent story
This is actually the most coherent story in the franchise it only goes mildly crazy at the end unlike the rest of them which are crazy from either the start or the half way point.
NO AVATAR MAKING
DELETE THAT SHIT
Not to be forced to endure a downgraded product.
honestly, its the dolls. 100% the dolls.
1.) Make the dolls less awful in combat. we have all these neat classes, and then we spend the latter part of the game in these cookie cutter robots.
2.) Make the game feel less shitty after you get the flight unit. You have this world crawling feel to the game until you get the flight upgrade, then its
>Over the rainbow
to your destination with no danger at all. fuck that noise.
No Skells. No Censorship. No Sawano.
And I'm sold.
More interiors
Being able to drive cars. The fact that you get a little skit between you and Elma over cars suggest you should have been able to get one.
how the hell
>No Skells
Get out.
>Bought the sweet-ass expensive Miramobile
>Can't drive it
What a waste
space battles
skells that turn into fighter jets instead of gay motorcycles
interesting skell combat
being in skell is actually reflected in game. none of this chasing a 6000 foot long fortress on foot in cutscenes shit
space battles
enemies dont ignore you when you reach a certain level
You enjoy having exploration trivialized, ground combat made redundant, and all sense of adventure being lost then?
I wish NLA was like colony 6, a place that you help build up over the course of the game. It might be too late to do something like that with a sequel but all those resources you were gathering and the whole nod system really seemed like it could have been funneled into something like this. It really gives you that sense of accomplishment when you take a ramshackle place and turn it into something really nice.
You enjoy being a pathetic squishy little baby mim?
no censorship
a better translation/localization
Nintendo didn't completely remove the bust slider from the game, just disabled it. You can use hacking programs like TCPGecko to change it. And yes it will show up on your character online as these are screenshots of another player's mim.
More Xeno to recruit in the party or at least play as.
A better plot, better characters, and better combat
A better combat system than the MMO-tier thing we got saddled with.
Less potatoes.
Simplify the combat system while keeping all the meaningful additions. Tension Points, Secondary Cooldowns, ranged + melee weapons, elemental damage, being able to run around/jump at a decent speed and so on are all good additions. But then you factor in Potential (which is the best stat and makes every other stat redundant thanks to Blossom Dance and doing the best healing) and dozens of different buff types and status conditions and Overdrive which has different boosts depending on what color art you use in what order and half the mechanics stop mattering anyways because there's an easily available optimal strategy. I like complexity and systems, but not when they mostly end up meaning nothing and just serve to make some ways of playing objectively worse. Try using an Electric Javelin build and getting nearly as much damage as any asshole with Receding Rust.
I don't like how skells made getting around so easy either but you can keep exploration and still have skells fit in. Have areas that require skells to get around and balance them appropriately. Have areas that prevent skells being taken (the caverns in Cauldros are an ok example but you could do more). Keep areas that allow for both. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
How well does the delocalization patch work?
Is it stable and relatively bug free?
I want to play this game but I want to play the uncucked version.
Battle theme is fucking shit, everything else is serviceable.
LAST NIGHT
DO YOU REMEMBER
Better story, better characters, space battles, more villages/towns, no avatar character.
Basically, a mix of Xenoblade and Xenoblade X.
I didn't get this at all you do most of your exploration before getting your skell there is already a fast travel teleport system in place and you only get your flight pack towards the very end of the game after you've already basically been everywhere that doesn't require it's use and for everywhere else you've already got a free teleport by that point.
Getting the flight pack was a welcome reward by that point and I often flew places rather than teleporting to them.
>all this salt of how skells ruined the game
You should have done most of the exploring on foot, before you could use those skells. Loved exploring and completing the game like that.
It's only from the babies who rushed the story to get their skells and then complained about the pacing.
>Doing the story when it is available is rushing
???
I think you have to have a hacked Wii U to start with.
I have that.
I want to know how stable the patch is though.
>Not exploring and doing side material when it's available.
You brought it on yourself because you have no patience. I blame your parents.
Big world
Limitless customization with MC including the MCs Mech/biomech/whatever
Technology replaces magic
Good story.
No DERP as fuck looking 3D art. Cute loli faces does not translate well to perfect 3D. It has to be the hazy quasi bratz doll and sorta cellshaded stuff or it fails.
Make less space between dialog lines.
Make less cringe inducing dialog.
Remove Tatsu.
>Story is now zero challenge since you are level a billion
Nintendo of America not cucking us because boobs are bad. Ass slider would be great too. Recruitable Wrothians.
That would be entirely up to you and how much you grind. The side material doesn't get you many levels, exploration is basically free, you're just grasping at straws at this point.
More Mechs.
More continents.
Better main story.
Being able to stomp giant robots with your human bodies is kind of cool as fuck.
But only up to a point.
Like you can have at end game level the ability to hold your own against mid level threats that took your best stuff half way into the game to defeat kind of thing.
Make on foot combat like a hunting game.
Make Skell combat like Armored Core.
Why do American companies hate big breasts?
>Jim "the cuck" Sterling is proud for censoring XBCX, the game he *personally* censored.
thanks media!
We find out what was up with this planet.
A good game
how to recognize when a series went to shit
Proper faces.
SO5 improved faces over SO4, although it fucked up everything else.
Either they have an "image" to maintain or the puritans skewed our morals with their own views.
I want to be able to push a car.
>SO5 improved faces over SO4, although it fucked up everything else.
I still don't understand how they fucked up the routes/endings in 5 so badly. It's nice they're back, but man the RNG involved with getting them to appear in the first place is so damn weird.
E L M A W A I F U S I M U L A T O R
Xenogears, Xenosaga 1 and XCX are the only games they used Kunihiko Tanaka's design.
Better story, better characters and ACE+
>Being able to stomp giant robots with your human bodies is kind of cool as fuck.
Well yeah, but if we take Xenogears for an example the gears at their best are much better than your ground fighters at their best and that's how it always should be. It's a matter of balancing the game properly. Your mims shouldn't be competitive with (or in this game's case better than) their giant robot upgrades at their highest levels. At most your minmax'd Mims should be roughly even to optimized level 50 skells or one skell tier below whatever the best available skells are at.
>direct sequel to XCX
I don't want one. I hope the next Xenoblade is unrelated to it like XCX was to the first.
>inb4 vague statements that could possibly make Mira Shulk's planet
shit that like is fine, but it's not a direct sequel
Also this anime probably no one here has heard of
Xenoblade would have got 2x as many sales if the models looked like those old PS2 models. What the fuck were they thinking? And WHY are X's models EVEN WORSE?
>Being able to stomp giant robots with your human bodies is kind of cool as fuck.
You mean like this?
nah fuck you, I don't want Xenoblade to look too anime.
Watched it all in 2004 or so. 9/10 would watch again. Still surprised it was able to get 15 eps since it doesn't seem like it'd be widely palatable, even in Japan.
Yeah that's what I mean.
But you should also have the ability to give your characters the ability to be, not competitive, against mechs but allows them to survive long enough against them to pull in their own mechs or escape higher or equal level mechs or if they're really lucky take one down.
Like greater agility, some kind of shield that weakens the energy attacks of mechs high crit attacks against weak points. Things like that.
I do.
Fuck pseudo realism.
>Better story without trying to set up big mysteries as sequel bait
>More focus on characters, don't give us like 12 party members, keep the amount small and flesh them out more
>Get rid of the Skell replacement shenanigans, yes it encourages you to be careful with your robot but for fuck's sake, if I accidentally even fart in the general direction of a big monster I have to go back to base to get my Skell replaced
>Don't give us character creation if they're completely irrelevant to the story 90% of the time. It's fine to not be the main hero of the game, but don't make it where my character is basically hovering in the background like a weirdo while the "real" characters talk.
>Super bosses are cool, having to basically break the game to even survive for five seconds is not. Don't make enemies that require actual bullshit builds to even hit once.
>Fix the music. The music is mostly terrible, but that's not the main issue. Special music coming on every time you hit the jump button to fly in a Skell, then turning off when you hit the ground is ridiculous. If you even try to fly a few feet into the air the music starts up.
>Don't make party members required. Most of the main story missions don't allow you to use many of the other party members, despite there being tons. Have the main characters there, but don't require the player to have them in the party for combat.
>Burn everything to do with Tatsu, including any writers who were involved in his creation.
I actually fucking adored XCX, but it had some pretty big issues. The atmosphere especially was fantastic and I loved the whole story's theme of humans trying to survive in a completely alien world/situation. I'd love a sequel that continues that feeling, just make a better story and better characters.
I've never played Chronicles. Wii, or 3DS?
Comparison videos make the port look so dire, but they're bigger than the screen so it's not entirely accurate, and portability sounds convenient with the length so I don't have to lockdown a TV forever to play.
I just don't know.
There's nothing pseuodo realism about xenoblade, it's just not KAWAII NEKO SENPAI SAN shit you fucking persona playing weeaboo
It looks anime though, just really fucking low budget.
There's nothing realistic about Xenoblade's characters, what the fuck? Especially X, that looks worse than the second from the left
>>Super bosses are cool, having to basically break the game to even survive for five seconds is not. Don't make enemies that require actual bullshit builds to even hit once.
I thought that was the best part. You really had to use your noggin to figure out how to beat some of them and it was an excellent way to show just how flexible the character building was.
Emulate it on Dolphin, avoid 3DS at all costs.
I'm with this guy.
Anime games should look like anime.
Photorealism is a cancer on video games.
Emulate the wii version with Dolphin.
Xenoblade is a shonen manga storywise though, it's pretty much anime.
idolm@ster's art/graphics are so terrible. Exact same fucking face for everyone
shit, wrong thread
>You really had to use your noggin to figure out how to beat some of them and it was an excellent way to show just how flexible the character building was.
Funny, I did use my head and still got blown the fuck out. Then I looked it up and figured out that you basically just have to exploit some of the game's systems to even touch them. I'm totally down with super bosses, but goddamn. I'm looking for ridiculously tough bosses, not outright instant-kill you if you don't have the right build kinda thing.
Xenoblade Chronicles did it fine. The super bosses in that game just asked you to utilize agility properly and keep characters comboing into moves. Hell, if you were smart you could beat them without either of those tactics. But XCX has some bullshit.
I'll take same face over potato face.
>that ass
>Emulate it on Dolphin, avoid 3DS
Be sure to play it in stereoscopic 3D on dolphin, like god intended.
>the game is japanese so it has to look like k-on atlus shit
no.
