Well Final Fantasy XV was a bust. Looks like it's up to Tetsuya Nomura to save Square. Honestly, I'm sadden at how much of a massive disappointment FF XV is. Waited a fucking decade for just an okay game. Goddamn Tabata was a mistake.
But the good thing is, now that XV crash and burned, it's time to put all their focus into KH 3 and FF 7 Remake. We finally entered the best timeline

To be fair, it wasn't 10 years of development, it was 6 years of nomura jerking around, then 4 years of tabata salvaging it, and doing their best to deliver on unimaginable hype.

It's Square and Tabata's fault for overhyping the shit out the game. They wanted this game to be their next masterpiece since FF 7. They put all their eggs into this game and oh god did it massively backfire.

The problem with FF XV was its godawful execution. The first half of the game barely anything happens then suddenly once Luna dies shit goes from 0 to 100. That is horrible pacing. You can't have nothing happen for hours upon hours then suddenly plot and twists thrown at you with no time to process what just happen.
The ending would have actually been really fucking awesome had the characters would have been fleshed out more and it would have had time to properly build up. FF XV overall just feels like a bunch of good ideas thrown together but executed in the most lazy and half assed way possible
