I just started playing inquisition, its been pretty fun up until pic related showed up. What in the fuck is going on? Who was the guy in the mask she killed? Why can't I ask her? Why did Bioware think people would like such a LOL SO RANDOM character? Who the fuck in their right mind would let someone like this join their organization? Whoever wrote this scene and this fucking character should be fucking fired, holy shit.
Otherwise the games pretty good

I think she's supposed to be ugly, to prove that a character could be likable without being attractive (which is 100% true) but they completely fucking dropped the ball on the "actually likable" part

I usually just accept them all and even if I don't bring them along, I talk to them for quests and stuff.

I would probably mind less if one side of her wasn't ugly.

The only reason I'd see is if you're on your 10th playthrough and she's the only one you haven't put your feminine penis in, but you should really euthanasiate yourself if you play through this shit game more than one.
They designed her to be popular character, she's the plucky rogue, the lovable renegade, the sharp-tongued sharp-shooter, they tried so damn hard to make it a popular character to make it a folk hero that they forgot the most important thing, actually making an enjoyable character.
