Zoro won because he was too fast and had much stronger damage dealing feats that let him cut through her armor until she ran out. Haki also let him see her attacks

Last I checked, Zoro hasn't shown off his full capabilities yet since the timeskip. I know screwattack is trash but this just sounds like trying to cause shit and get attention.

This is what pisses me off about Death Battle: not the decision itself but how you can often tell they made their decision before their "research". It could be a fun little show that bullshits over pointless topics but instead they bypass that just to try to milk pageclicks.

Its slowly not being as good as it used to be with voice acting or terrible choice in voice clips.

Tifa vs Yang from RWBY.

"Aura" is some power Yang just developed in the series where it's some kind of berserk mode. Pretty much their entire argument became was that nothing Tifa could do is capable of overcoming what this Aura ability was capable of. The catch is that the ability was BARELY talked about in the series at the point of that Death Battle airing so there were next to no reference points to show that it was apparently as awesome as they claimed it was.

Bitterness was further enhanced when the live streaming of that DB was preceded, had an intermission and was followed by promos for the next season of RWBY.

Great taste.

Sadly I don't have those. All I know is that Screwattack and Hyper Gauge left on less than good terms. Something about SA demanding too much of them, but not in a way as to violate their contract. In any case, when Hyper Guage left they took most of the good sprite animators with them, which is why Death Battle's fights have dipped in quality since they left

Death Battle was always shitty with 3D animation.
Its spritework also wasn't that great before.

Boomstick's voice is less annoying that the one that tries to sound like the smart/level-headed one.

I mean, they both still sound stilted after all these years, but I mean the 'drill sergeant' type guy

If you're comparing it to OMM, sure. OMM has to cram all its action into a single minute, while Death Battle spreads out all its action and has to make sure all the abilities are shown off, but I'd say the sprite work itself was fine.

Either way, it's only gotten worse
