ITT games you wish had mods or mod ding community
What mod ideas do you have for LM?
New levels or areas. The non-portrait ghosts were cool enough to make room levels out of alone. There were a handful of shosts that were used once or twice that could grt some more use (like mirror ghosts in a room without a mirror just to make invisible ghosts, for example). The blackout was my favorite part in the game because it was actually challenging fighting so many ghosts at once.
Custom rooms with models and objects in game could be used to make whole new areas and level sets. Doesn't that sound fun?

Winter break goals: Learn how to mod Gamecube games.
If my procrastination habit doesn't destroy this dream, you'll probably hear about me in a few months.
the most i've seen is HD textures and specular lighting
I'm not expecting you to deliver but well, I'll stay tuned I guess.
I think Sunshine actually has a small modding community. Alot of early GC games are ripe for modding, Pikmin in particular in my opinion.
I don't expect me to deliver either. :(
I'd like to prove myself wrong for once.
Dude if you do, you'd be my hero.
Maybe portrait ghosts could also be thrown in to the mix. Something like Mr. Lugs flinging fireballs or the dog chasing you down while other ghosts are about could be a fun twist.
I could see Sunshine getting a modding community just like 64 has. Pikmin 1/2 would be rad too.
SF3:3S
It already has 2 mods, but they mostly have the same content as each other,(one is based on the other) I want more mods, just dicking around shit, doesn't even necessarily have to be balancing stuff, for example:
make parries easier to land (+~4 frames of leniency), parries give back a small amount of health (~20), remove ability to block
I just want fun shit to mess around with and play with my friends
it looks okay but god damn luigi and everyone else are too fucking plastic looking god damn
This game seems like it would be fun to mod.
the modding community behind mario kart wii is insane
Do tell, Wii was one of my favorite MKs
oh shit, really?
wiki.tockdom.com
Wiim's Mario Kart Fun 2016-10 is the latest and has over 200 custom tracks and every single track that has ever been in a Mario Kart before
Dude you're today's MVP.

i've created a torrent too if you'd like it so you can play on dolphin
only thing you need to know though is that the custom menus only work for the first track, unless you use the jitil compiler which is sort of garbage
i recommend you save a state before you pick a track just so you can reload it once you finish the race
Infinite heaven helps the craving, but only a little.
I want custom levels, custom weapons, new buddies, community created missions and side ops, recreations of past MGS, better bosses,
Hell, I'd take better base building mechanics, just give the game to the modders, Konami
>scripting the camera for each planetoid
It would not be fun to mod.
you can thank denuvo for that
wah wah only pirates care
fuck you I paid full price for it and if it weren't for denuvo we'd already have 30 versions of the cut missions plus a huge number of custom levels, but konami would rather sell their own minecraft mod for 30 bucks I guess

Thanks friend. I'll check it out.
So you say custom menus as in the track I put in works only on stage 1? And I have to reload to replace it?
I would love to see killer instinct mods
There was that mod released a while back that makes the game a fuck ton harder.
Yep. There's something funky with how Dolphin loads the custom menu that allows you to access the regular maps. So, again, just reload your state after Stage 1.
>infinite heaven
How is it anyways? I've been running Ultimate Phantom Pain alongside the guy's Hardcore Mod and it's been busting my ass. Closest thing to Euro Extreme the game has since getting shot a few times is basically death. I do think they need to just fucking put out the level editor or something.
Fucking charge for it if you faggots want money that badly, anything but Survive.
Any of the Donkey Kong games.
I don't know if there are modding communities for Gamecube, but perhaps it'd be similar to ROM hacking? I'd suggest you start with those communities and maybe look at N64 romhacks to sorta learn how 3D Rom hacks work.
Either way I wish you luck, Luigi's Mansion was a fun game, but ended too soon.
The problem with things like these is how many liberties they take with it.
>all the red and black shit
As and said there are some, just not that many it seems. Plus Melee and Brawl (and now Sm4sh) all have large modding communities.
romhacking.net
Found this after a quick search, someone should take the plunge to see if it's not kaizo trash.
I imagine the graphics are keeping more people from hacking the SNES games, the tiling system has to be a lot more complicated than something like Super Mario World.
