The more the better.

The alternate costumes in the PS1 game were great. I'm not big on capeshit so seeing so many variations and different designs made me feel a little fuzzy on the inside.
I think I have a fetish for alternate costumes since I also happen to love all the suits in Metroid and tunics in Zelda.

The black outfit in the bottom left would've done well for a netflix series spiderman. It's too late for that now, of course. But that would have been a better way to reboot the series while tying it in with the MCU. Let him spend all that time in new york hanging out with daredevil and luke cage.

I hope they make new suits, while having iconic suits like Scarlet Spider is cool I prefer to have new suits created by the devs specifically for the game.
