It's the most fun I had since Gen VI.

I pirated Sun for the sole purpose of rubbing it in the faces of the banned retards who took the leak online.

I started playing it ironically and immediately got hooked.

I played Gen IV and V but completely lost interest in it when BW2 hit shelves.

I couldn't even revisit the classics because I thought I outgrew pokemon.

Now? I honestly don't know why I like it so much. I don't even care that there are weird pokemon like jangle keys or a chandelier because I feel like there is a justified reason especially if it has ghost typing.

I like the writing, starters, and how varied the Pokemon are in terms of generations.

It's the most fun I had in awhile.

I thought I outgrew Pokemon, but I guess it's what I needed to get out of this rut after all.

9/10 would pirate again.

Always found it weird how people would auto lock on the weirder designs of a gen instead of the good ones.
My hypothesis on this is that since Pokemon is such a popular topic, people who haven't played don't want to be left out of the discussion, but instead of taking the time to play the new games, they take the genwunner stance and say the new Pokemon are shit and post an image macro of Charizard next to Mega Sharpedo or something, because a tired, parroted opinion is better than just admitting you don't actually know anything about Pokemon past what was presented to you when you were younger.

I think the premise of a haunted anchor/haunted seaweed attaching to an anchor is fucking awesome, but then again I unironically love most of the "possessed inanimate object" Pokemon like the Chandelure and Aegislash line. Dhelmise, however, looks fucking awful. I think it's mainly the color palette though, change that shit and it'd look okay.

I didn't even notice it was grass/ghost. It took me around an hour to finally land one, and it was a fucking level 10. I was so assmad that it wasn't in the 40s like all the fucking Magikarp and Wailmers I came across that I dumpstered it immediately and haven't looked at it's ability or moves.

Thye made it so you dont have the complete the national dex but you cam stil transfer old pokemon. Removing pokemon is a terrible idea. Gen 3 almost ended pokemon because you couldn't transfer your pokemon. Masuda said we wont get a reboot anyways
