It needed WAY more variety in tilesets son. I had no problems with spelunking but it got dull as fuck. You want me to spend ages crawling through tunnels? male the tunnels look different.

Such a great game but I just couldn't farm blood viles all the time while trying to get past a difficult boss fight. I just saved my save file on my usb, fought the boss, and if I died just re-loaded my save. That saved A TON of grief.

I've wrecked a shitload of 2v1s and 3v1s in DS3. The pvp zones like the swamp before sages and area after pontiff are amazing for massive battle royales that are some of the most fun i've ever had in the series. But I do appreciate that the game is such a good one player experience. I wonder if designing for pvp would have taken away from that.

I had way more fun in BB single player than with Das3, I think it was just a drag going back to medieval fantasy after BB.

Not him, but I like BB's PvP way more.
There's a bigger emphasis on spacing, poking, and catching heals. The moves are better, you use way more of them, and the game plays tighter.

Oh I agree commpletely, DS3 sp was a huge mistake.

I had ~100 hours in pvp a month after release, I faced plenty of good gank squads, beat some of them, died to some of them. The only squad I knew I would never beat (and I invaded them probably 5 times) was a 3 man ultra tryhard crew, all with ToD, two dexfags and a havel. One day I'll upload all my saved videos from my ps4 HDD and make webms to shut up people who say you can't gankspank.

It doesn't change the fact that most BB invasions turn into a 1v1 in an open, flat area. I agree with you that the combat is better, but there isn't much variety in the PVP

Disciples 2 is better i'd say

There are huge problems with all the games, but BB it least felt like there was a proper footsie and normals game hiding in there, unlike the rest which were just spam infinites/frametraps or fish for parries/BS.

For all the hype Sup Forums puts on this game, it sure was a disappointment. I was expecting some kind of masterpiece.

There are no flawless games. Just games with minimal flaws that amount yo nitpicks. For example, every game you think is flawless, is flawed in a number of ways.

It has a few flaws but ones I easily overlook. Chalice dungeons are boring, PvP was pretty bad in most cases, lack of covenants was a bummer. Everything else was perfection.

Yeah, I know. I'd also like to add that even if a game has a lot of flaws, it doesn't mean the game is bad and vice-versa. Best example I can think of is Dragon's Dogma, it's an extremely flawed game but goddamn me if it isn't one of the best games of the 7th gen.

Yes there's a health recovery system, but that comes with a high risk that some more cautious players won't be willing to take, so they'll spend blood vials a lot more and therefore run out a lot quicker and need to farm for more

It's got nothing to do with running out of vials. Just that farming them is fucking retarded because there's a store in the fucking hub the sells an unlimited amount for cheap. You can spend your excess echoes there once or twice and never have to worry about running out ever again.

Dude, you can just buy blood vials. They're not that expensive.

There are items that port you back to lanterns, plus all areas are easy to run through. Only time you should be losing blood echoes is in a boss room without items. Even then as long as you pay attention you can grab them on each attempt until you kill them.
