Because a lot of people were new to the series with ME2. Once they went back to play 1 they realised how shit 2 was and what a monster EA could truly be.

funny you should mention that. i never hear anything good about four sword adventure. not that it's "fucking trash" or anything.
it was my only console zelda game since i never got LTTP or any n64 games, and it defined the zelda experience for me.

though i had prior history with the series on gbc with link's awakening, i really started to appreciate the 2d zelda games.
after playing the oracle games from the 3ds eshop, i really want more zelda games to feature this grid-based puzzle structure.

It's all about lighting my man. Plus those SFM fags like to overdose on after effects too. A lot of the "well animated" ones throw chromatic aberration and smudge shit so you can't see where it clips, or where the animation is broken.

It's fighting mechanics were amazing. Crazy ass combos and moves at a steady unlock rate.
And there was a fuckton to unlock in general. Play as green goblin? Play as shocker?
This game had max replay value.

Yep. You can see where the models overlap as well. They never actually collide. Animator just went Bethesda tier lazy and froze them in place.

You can see where chunks of the models phase into each other, most noticeable with the tits and hair. A couple of the frames actually have their heads briefly overlap as well.

Gameplay is so shallow, but so fun.

This game was diabolically shit. Contrary to what you said it actually did get a lot of recognition as being a decent movie game (which weren't known to be very good at the time). I played it to completion and it got so bad about halfway through. Combat was weird as well and it didn't handle stealth very well.

Had so much fun playing splitscreen battles with my little brothers. Damn fun.

Terraria's vertical gameplay is entirely based around the (hilariously large) fall damage though. There are wall climbing items, double jumps, flying mounts, grappling hooks, slow-fall items, gravity changing potions...

And before you say anything yes it is a platformer, reaching different places you couldn't before (through free movement or mining) is one of the main aspects of the game

This was great especially that you could sit on enemies heads and punch them in the face.

this might be the nostalgia from my teen years talking, but i fucking loved it.
you essentially do missions that follow a story, and in the meantime you scout out upgrades in the world around you. those upgrades being spells that use up drugs or new weapons.
as well as that, you can beat up people to possess their body and gain new stats. really simple combat, just mash the damage button or use "drugs" to do special attacks.
with enough stats you can fuck hotter chicks, but as you start you're kinda stuck fucking the ugly ones. there's bonus missions for money or where you can fuck hot chicks for free.
it's got enough varied environments to keep you looking for easter eggs and listening to the dialogue is hilarious. you got just about every flavor of stereotype in this game and they're all great.

however the most important thing about this game is that it's best experienced with mods. mod out all the fat chicks by swapping out textures and model files with those of the hot chicks.
it shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes, but it's the best way to enjoy the game. sure grinding gives the sense of reward, but if you start with perfect gameplay, you'll start to appreciate the little things.
also, don't forget to replace the sound files unless you want sorority girls to sound like fucking landwhales. you can also use cheats to get free money and just buy the shit out of all the drugs.
use walkthroughs or else you'll get lost, and there's no downside since what's the use of the element of surprise in a fucking porn game, amirite?

if you're still determined to check it out, make sure you find a working crack with a keygen, else i could probably just upload my personal files to a mega and share with the world.
