Blindly waiting for something is ridiculous. It's not like they announced XV years ago, didn't show anything until now and just kept going "Yeah it's gonna be awesome". They did show good stuff, but in the last years the quality dropped. They kept showing lackluster content, kept talking about game and how it'd not be like what was initially promised.
The Final Fantasy XV that you'll be playing is not the Versus which's trailer you saw ten years ago, and that has been quite clear. If you were still expecting the game, I don't really know what to say.

Also, if the game was truly good you wouldn't. I've seen the endings of plenty of games before I've played them and would still give them a 8/10 (Dragon's Dogma as an example).
