I'm fond of Noveria in ME1, where you're in the hub and looking outside to see the snow storm.

wait a sec

Not memeing or anything, but GTA V.

I fuck around solo in online just to revel in the comfyness..

...

I wished base game had actual seasons though.

Guild Wars 2
The Winterday Updates

Endless legend has winter season.

Kirby's Epic Yarn has a comfy Christmas area that I replay every year

>comfy
there's that word again.

Fuck, every time. How did this run so well on my toaster despite looking better than 75% of modern vidya?

This

Is comfy the comfiest word?

yeah i know this feel.

>winter lodge

There's that autist again.

Snow maps in Star Craft Broodwar.

>comfy
Fuck off

pls no bully
animal crossing

mmmmmyes

snow maps with the green and brown player colors
so good
fuck, getting brood war made for a good christmas

can't believe it's been almost 20 years

the downtime parts in Shattered Memories were pretty comfy.

>snow maps with the green and brown player colors
And here I thought it was just me. Good taste, user.

Love that game

Banished has comfy winters as long as you prepare beforehand. Nothing comfiet than coming out of the longest coldest winter you've ever seen in the game with more than a quarter of your stores still full of food and firewood

eastern european magic

too bad winter is comfy only in videogames, cold outside sucks the heat out of your balls

Kara no shoujo 2

...

Literally dropped this game when the winter part ended. Everything in it is mediocre but wintery atmosphere was god-tier.

...

Downtime is like 90% of SM. It's a pretty comfy game which is weird when it's supposed to be horror.

Is it translated?

Yup. I finished it a week ago or so.
The first one was better

...

This place was fucked up.

A friend told me there's a house you can live in behind a demon door and I thought this was it. Then I got inside.

Cool, thanks.
Well that's a pity. But I'll check it out anyway.

Banished

>winter maps that look like all the snow is thawing
The comfiest

cute

Yeah please check it out. It's still great and best girl tomboy gets love from the writers.

Yakuza 5. There's a mountain village with sizable hunting minigame, side quests, and you can also fish.
It's easily the comfiest part of the game, but you also get to go to city with a winter theme, and can dress up as santa.

I think both IWDs are comfy as fuck. Mostly thanks to the music and sound

yeah but it makes cherish heat more and it's easy to warm up with some qt's

Nothing will ever top Frosty Village and Walrus Cove

...

iwd towns are max comfy

This. Yakuza games in general are set in winter.
Also Persona 4 Golden has a nice winter season.

Bad Company 2 had some comfy snow maps

Max Payne 1!

Muramasa has amazing looking wintery mountain segment, complete with hot springs you can visit.
Just some of them are. Most are set in time they are released in. It's amazing how Sega banks hard on seasonal sales.

WoTLK had pretty comfy snow settings.

I miss it so much.

The division

I remember mountain map of Bomberman 64 being pretty comfy, but it has been fucking ages since I played it.

too bad the game sucks and has no endgame

I've had a serious falling out with M64.

They play like 2 games a year and their podcast is aimless bullshitting

Their streams are garbage too. I can only watch Garret play through RE so many times

Kara no Shoujo really is crazy comfy until people start dying. It's a murder mystery, after all.

Anyway, continuing with theme of visual novels, EF has nice Christmas theme and backgrounds have sort of cold feeling to them. No snow though, since it's trying to be kind of grounded in regular Japanese cities.

Amakano has comfier winter and no gore.

Ni No Kuni has the comfiest everything.

...

Cozy is comfier.

Game?

skyrim

>359195535
That game was comfy incarnate.

Yeah but it's a shit game.

This is the right answer

Ff7

Beat me to it
>tfw you made the snowman for the first time

Battalion wars 1 and 2

This. Although to be fare it's a core feature of the game.

PoE DLC was also pretty comfy.

The Long Dark

The lack of quests (atleast pre-cata) and the relative remoteness of Winterspring must have been what made it comfy. Felt like a sleepy snow resort.

The Long Dark
You have to earn your coziness though.

>Max Payne
>comfy

Really? Really??

The Long Dark

just lying there in the snow with a scoped shotgun full of slugs in hands, playing whack-a-mole with people looking out the windows, good times.

>Harvest Moon not mentioned yet
What's going on? Practically 1/4 of each game is spent on winter, and they have some really nice festivals.
And since you can't farm during winter, it gives you time to do other comfy things in the game.

...Fuck, forgot an image. Though it's nothing special.

This game was really fucking comfy

Shelter 2.

the music made the zone

...

I forgot to post this:
youtube.com/watch?v=BlcoPZo_904

absolutely max comfort

>pls no bully

but bully has one of the best winter sections ever user

Honestly, if you played it to death as a kid, its more of a nostalgiatrip into a snowy movie.
