Wolfenstein: The New Order playerbase

Why are so many people playing it right now? During the day it spikes up to over 800 then dies down to around 500 at night, its just a single player game with no replayability, right? I mean there's no multiplayer, no mods. Is there a secret mode or something I'm unaware of?

it's a good game 2bh

>3x more than battleborn

HAHAHAHA

JUST

isn't TNO the game some cracks use to bypass steamworks?

What do you mean?

I think it was recently on sale for a super cheap price like $5.99 or $8.99. Maybe a bunch of people bought it and are all playing it at the same time, I'm pretty sure I remember seeing it on sale a week ago for super cheap.

Maybe people liked Doom and wanted something similar?

Like some games that get cracked still require steam, but bypass by listing your account as playing another steam game. serious sam was one I remember, I think this is another.

But 3*0 doesnt equal 539

800 people bought it at once?

>playing cracked games with steam open

it's a requirement for some newer ones. like d44m

No it isn't. That was an early bypass that got patched like a week afterward. It has been properly cracked since.

Because it's good

WYATT OR FERGUS

$6 bro, that's a good deal.

Obviously Wyatt.

Even Fergus tells you to pick him. Plus J > Tekla, the lockpicking minigame is better, and the ending mecha fight hits harder

Good man, Fergus needed to rest anyway.

I havent beaten the game yet so please dont spoil anything in response but are the timelines drasticly different from eachother or is it only slight differences?

>90% players finished W:TNO's first level
>45% finished HL2's first level

wew

>Save his sorry as from getting brain tubed after he begs and pleads and Fergus offers himself up
>15 years later he bitches that I picked him
>The same thing happens if you pick Fergus
Fucking hell I hate it when games do that
Not at all. already mentioned the major differences. Fergus' dialogue is better though, just so you know.

People purposely buy Wolfenstein
HL2 is most likely given to a lot of people for free during sales a lot or bought with bundles.

Werent achievemrnts added in later?

HL2 has been out since long before steam achievements existed and thats probably when the vast majority of people played it

>cheevos.png
>this ignorant
This is ironic isn't it?

Thos is why at least im playing it

Bc8z ppl buy hl for the sake of it. Only ppl who wanted to play wtno bought it

>90% of 1,300,000 = 1,170,000
>45% of 9,800,000 = 4,410,000
Plus HL2 came out before steam achievements were a thing. It also comes in the valve bundle which some people may just ignore and some people may only buy it for its assets in stuff like gmod
