The same thing still happens: Tawna is restrained and captured by Cortex's minions, except instead of it just basically being a boring cut to two goons holding her, they add a few more seconds of action. They also attempt to make the scene even more sinister by upping the number of goons closing in on her and making her panic and fear more pronounced. If anything, they were just trying to increase the tension of the scene with some minor additions. It's not part of some 'LEFTIST JEWISH CONSPIRACY'.

But games including African-American or female protagonists is not censorship, that's an artistic decision by the creators of the game. There's nothing wrong with playing as characters like that.
