What the fuck are you talking about ?
It's still the best mouse existing on the market. You can even find it for 40€ these days so it's not that expensive
you can likely get a better deal on a ducky s
I've used a Razer Lachesis for 7 years
What? I replaced my G9 with it and it's about as good.
Been using it for several months now, no complaints.
Is it wireless?
Plenty anons have said it's a meme
youtube.com
G303 all the way nigga.
best shape, no stupid ass thumbrest and not bulky.
I must say, i love using my g502 for playing wow and browsing shit, but for shooting niggas g303 or gpro is the way to go.
So, how is it a meme again?
It's wired.
Oh nah, I'm good. I just wish there was a good alt to the G700 that lasted longer that doesn't have tons of buttons. I refuse to use wired only mice.
>Feels like designed for smaller hands unlike other logitech mice
>Mousewheel is shitty plastic and starts to squeek after a few days
>gimmicky sniper dpi downscale button you either remap or never use
>worse thumb button placement than comparable logitech mice.
>Braided cords starts to unbraid pretty fast leaving you with a stiff loop
It wasn't terrible, but well... easily the worst logitech mouse i ever owned - it found a permanent home in my laptop bag as one the go mouse.
>tfw just using a tecknet raptor because spending more than ten bucks on a mouse is absurd
>I refuse to use wired only mice
I don't like having wires all over my desk. I'm bad enough as it is, wires restricting my mouse would just make me die inside.
It does have a wired mode, mind you. I could only use the wired mode but I'm not good at vidya.
t. Ex-console only CoD girl
>When you bought 2 g700s 20 eurobucks each when amazon had them on sale since it fucked up how you hold mice.
Any word on the g403? How is it?
wired mice are for filthy degenerates
Logitech's version of the deathadder.
Main difference : it isn't made of cheap shit that will break in 1 year and it actually has decent drivers.
It's too expensive for what it is - when the proteus memed for the purchases of edgy teens the g403 memes for the purchase of purist fags.
But if you can get it for 50% off there is nothing wrong with it.
Why aren't you using logitechs g900 then?
Has anyone tried the Finalmouse Scream One yet? Any other mouses to look out for in the future?
Isn't that thing like 80 bucks for a plain mouse?
My suggestion would be to stay away from that thing, every product who offers the basics for horendous pricetags because the "gamer" meme deserves to bomb.
You see this shit? This shit is why you don't buy a G502.
Otherwise it's a good mouse.
What's wrong with this?
Don't remind me... it makes you feel like some homeless person who never washes his hands.
Nothing at first. Then you spend an hour cleaning it.
It's not that bad actually. There's more shit between all the buttons.
Had one since release but switched it out a year ago for a Naos 7000. It was a good mouse.
I was looking at that but it lacks too many buttons. Let me clarify, I want something that's just like the G700 but with longer life. When I say too many buttons, I mean stuff like the Razer Naga with 15 or so buttons
So what price range and companies mouses should I look for then?
I miss the MX Revolution. It was literally perfect, and the MX Performance that replaced it is absolute dogshit both for buttons and grip.
I'm looking for a new mouse and was thinking of an MX Master. Is this wonky g shit more worthwhile?
It's a shitty overrated low quality "gamer" mouse.
It just happen to have a good sensor, shills will say it's the best because that's what they do.
Heck, every Logitech device is cheap plastic and electronic, people just seem to have shit in their judgement, and marketing is working hard.
Is there a chinese knock off of Razer Naga?
I need a big mouse with 6-8 buttons placed in a circle with a thumb-rest in the middle
I have had one for 2 years and never cleaned it. Its fine if your not eating cheetos all day playing pc you fat shit. Also did a warranty on one and never sent it in so i have a brand new unopened extra just sittin there.
>Also did a warranty on one and never sent it in so i have a brand new unopened extra just sittin there.
Like, out of nowhere, definitivelynotshillingtm huh?
A good mouse is worth 50 bucks max, no matter what they claim they put into the thing.
When getting a new mouse i usually decide on a few models i'd like and wait till I get a sale on them.
The whole "muh gamer peripherals" thing made manufactures loose their mind and now they ask for whatever price they like.
What mice you should like... well go into an electronics store and touch a few, note down the ones that feel really nice in your hand and than check online if it has manufacturing problems or a shitty sensor - if not there you go.
My G500 has been going strong for about 3-4 years.
>50kg is fat
Dude nice.
>all day
Key point here. If you only play on and off, that shouldn't bother you. Otherwise it WILL get dirty,
If you could afford it, why would you settle for a wired mouse over a wireless mouse?
The technology for wireless mice has been here for a while. There's virtually no lag and they're just as good, if not better, than their wired counterparts.
Only real noticeable drawback to wireless mice right now is that they're on the expensive side. But if you could afford it, why wouldn't you get one?
Has anyone done use a warranty before?
I've never done it before, but I need to send a razer naga back to Razer since it's breaking down.
What happens? Do you have to pay for shipping and handling to Razer?
I had this but I was getting sick of the angle snapping so I splurged for pic related. My man hands can't handle this shit neither.
I have one myself and i work in a hospital, I wash my hands more times a day than other people do in a whole month - even at home because it became a shitty habit by now.
And this thing still gets dirty as fuck and is shit to clean.
I don't know what you standards are for when your mouse needs cleaning....
Does anyone else have their scroll wheel wobbling noticeably when you shake the mouse, or even move it quickly? Drives me fucking nuts.
It's not as bad as you say it. Eventually it will get dirty, increasing grip anyways. It will not affect sensibility or reliability.
By the way, while I was asking for a RMA from Logitech they did send me a box with a puppy in it, I'm so happy.
t. Logitech marketing department
>Like, out of nowhere, definitivelynotshillingtm huh?
It's true, tho. Don't know if it still the case, but Logitech customer support doesn't mess around. I wrote them about a slight issue on my right click (that from time to time missed to register one click, annoying even though fairly rare) to see if I could fix it in some way, they just asked me for the serial number of my mouse and sent me a new one for free (from the upgraded model, went from a g700 to a G700s). My old g700 is still working decently and I use it on my old laptop.
Did you buy your G900? user?
Technology is really good and fine tuned for space exploration.
Yeah, the scrollwheel is really shitty on this one, it's weird since no other mouse from them has that problem, or the same shitty wheel.
Did you really have to ask your superior to post that nonsense? Can't you act by your own?
god modern logitech styling is fucking horrendous. You'd think as the audience for this shit ages they'd make designs a bit more restrained instead of diving off the EXTREME end of the retard pool. My buddy has one of those and i really liked using it but fuck does it need a paper bag over it. Or at least over their horrendous new logo.
Damn, that sucks, because I really like the layout and the grip, but that shitty fucking wheel is an abomination.
Well i wouldn't care about the design since the thing is obscured by my hand 100% of the time I use it - but those new designs fucked up the old comfiness of logitech mice - they feel more like Razor now, and for me that is a bad thing.
I believe these mice are intended and marketed for a younger audience with smaller hands.
I bought this one with my ROG computer, it's perfect fit for my hand (am ambidextrous) and it never get dirty because it's designed for maximum efficiency.
Their non-US GAMERS HUH mice are fine
I noticed the shitty wheel right when i unboxed the thing and since for me it feels to slim I don't use it anymore.
First logitech mouse I put away before it broke.
You know that this is just a reskinned g700 - same tech, same problems, same otherwise gud mouse. More expensive.
What else are you going to build a mouse out of besides plastic and electronics?
I see a lot of shitposting but what is the best mouse overall ?
It's a reskinned MX, which was way before the g700
meant to quote
I had a G500, the cable eventually frayed at the point where it meets the mouse to the point where it no longer worked. Asked Logitech support if I could somehow buy a new cable off of them and I would replace it myself. Instead they just sent me a G502 for free when they were brand new.
And I love my G502 even more than my G500
Cheap low quality plastic and electronics are shit.
Plastic and electronics are fine, are you retarded?
>50kg
are you a midget?
Whatever is most comfortable for you and your hand size.
This ->
Buy your mice like you would buy your shoes.
+ google for sensor quality and build problems before you buy.
In no particular order:
Deathadder 2013
WMO1.1a/IME 3.0 basically the same mouse but different shape
Any post-yellow Zowie mice (has click latency fixed)
Any Logitech mouse with 3366
>WMO1.1a/IME 3.0
ebin
I remember when mine died, we buried her in the backyard
don't know who I did but I somehow managed to go
Name a mouse on the market that isn't quantified by these exact same characteristics.
Logitech mice are built equal to any other mouse on the market, in my experience. They all have some detracting flaw, and I've used a lot of mice in my life.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a small mmo mouse? The g600 is too big for and I want to stay away from Razer.
Just because it's an old item and popular amongst FPS players doesn't make it worse dude.
...
Had one for 3 years and stopped working with normal use, it also blocked the Y axis some times, it was the bigger piece of shit mouse I have ever used, seriously, now I have the one in the OP and I'm happy with it.
It was a mouse that was decent when it came out, but by current standards it has a lot of flaws. I'm not saying it's a bad mouse, but it is inferior to plenty of mice from the past 5 or so years (or more).
>google problems before you buy
Definitively this.
Don't fall for the "defective" batch, only a minor percentage of people affected will complain (because they know or just give a fuck about their product working as intended), if a problem happen so many times it's definitively a flawed mouse, and a flawed mouse is not worth more than $10.
idk, i replaced a defective Avior 7000 with a G900 and G810 I got for $75 each on Black Friday, all my concerns were unwarranted after trying it, and I'm glad.
A skeleton.
Anyone have any experience with this? Logitech marble isn't cutting it for me any more.
spoopy
I'm not naming a mouse.
I'm not giving visibility for any brand, because that could make it popular, and popularity only get brands to seek popularity and release shitty product made of pure uncut marketing.
what was the defect on your avior 7000?
yesterday, yesterday
love was such an easy game to play
now I need a place to hide away
oh, I believe in yesterday
A-are you inside me?
Maybe.
>g810
You should have gotten a clicky g710 non + version.
Gud keyboard, you can win a barfight with it and it still works like fresh out of the box.
I'd agree that it has a lot of flaws but tracking wise it's on par if not better than any modern mouse.
I hate using it because of its cheap plastic shell, lack of 500hz out of the box, shitty keys and wheel, garbage cord. But I always aim like a god when using it.
>only used a logitech g400 i bought over 5 years ago for $25 on clearance
>still works like a god damn charm aside the minor cord fraying
why would you literally want anything else? the g400 is the perfect mouse for all games aside MUH MACROS
Could Sup Forums spoonfeed me how to build a mouse?
Where can I buy a sensor?
you could buy a mouse since most of them come with sensors
Isn't the 303 tiny as fuck? Even the 502 could stand to be larger.
I'm still not sure if it was the mouse or some weird combination with that mouse + KB + USB hub/ports, but the issue didn't appear until I got the mouse.
Say I reboot 20 times over the course of one week. One of those reboots would result in the mouse not fully working, as in I couldn't scroll or click on some things. The only fix was to log off the profile and log back on. Thing is no matter how many times I rebooted, once the issue triggered I had to fix it via that method.
The keyboard would also stop functioning as well and seemed separate from the mouse issue, yet they seemed somehow connected as uninstalling the logitech gaming software (my initial bandaid fix) would solve the mouse issue).
Now, I dealt with it since 2013 until a few weeks ago, and where this came to be an issue that incited rage in me was when I was trying to install windows. It may work for one boot, then to working and I couldn't install.
Then I bought Gears 4 in Windows 10 for cross-buy/save/play, then literally as I booted up the game to play once the mouse issue happened but I couldn't log into Windows 10 since I couldn't get to the box to type my password. This triggered me and I ripped the mouse from the PC, then ended up putting my fist through my G510.
Used a temp mouse and keyboard for 2 weeks in the same two ports with no issues.
Have had the G810 and G900 for 1 week, rebooted over 20 times, no issues at all.
This is my first mechanical, I put quite a bit of research into it. Eventually it got to the point of this or a Corsair K Gaming keyboard, but decided I didn't need the macro keys.
The only legit concern I have for it is the paint wearing off the keys too fast...but at least replacement caps are only $25.
I'm very willing to try a Cherry MX Red keyboard next time.
What if I don't want to buy a mouse.
nu uh
I like the thumb button placement on the G502 better, the free-spinning scroll wheel is also nice for the odd application with lots of shit to scroll through.
That's why mouse suggestions are completely worthless unless the guy suggestion has proven that he has exactly the same hand size/shape.
Maybe I had luck with my g710 but its the best keyboard i had in a long time - really was a surprise but well, it was also expensive as fuck.
No paint wear since the letters aren't painted on but just a little shine through spot for the backlight - the backlight is another thing, everything else than the lowest setting burns your eyes.
>uninstalling the logitech gaming software
I've had that shit happen with my 502 and a friend had it happen as well, mouse basically stopped working because of LGS. I fixed it by updating to the latest version.
I'm a hue going to the US soon and my budget for vidya is $400, I'm almost set on buying a Wii U, can get a second hand one for $250 from gamestop probably, and also a cheap $20 external HD to put the pirated games, then $50 for a pro controller
That leaves me with $80 left and I need to urgently replace both my mouse and my headset because they are starting to die, can I get anything half decent with that?
Kensington mouse ball
Once you've gotten use to it, you can do almost anything in game. I've gotten so good at precision fighting in Minecraft while using one people were reporting me for auto aim. Good thing I recorded everything.
i hope for your sake that this is bait
