What's the pirate card combo that goes with it?
Any 1 drop pirate desu
does this play from deck or hand?
It says from deck on the card
Are you really that stupid
it literally says deck
Deck
Can this be used repeatedly or is it one use?
Play it with pic related then coin out the 3/4 that gives your weapon +1/+1 and basically win the game against everything except taunt spam.
holy fUG
does this summon all of the patches in your current deck or one of them?
All of them if you gang them up
fuck off, assholes. no one ever lawyer-reads a fucking tcg card. it's skimmed at most.
Ultimate start: Nzoth's First Mate, Small Time Buccaneer, Patches
3/2, 2 1/1s, and a 1/3 weapon
>lawyer reads
>>literally 12 words
w e w
>you must be a lawyer to read 12 words
Dirty rat fucks up Face Warriors day though, pulling an essential weapon synergy card out of their hand is great.
ugh, another shitty pull today, tomorrow i'll do better
>rogue
>get this guy on the board
>gang up, the trap is set
>play both southsea captains
>out pops the patches
>play skycapn kragg for 2
>shadowstep kragg twice for 33 damage from hand, and 8 mana
Your post is longer than the card itself
This is why HS needs to be bo3 where you can counterpick decks.
This card is always going to be worthless or top tier.
Wat no, it's a downside almost all of the time purely statwise, and you can hope to pull a good card but no matter what you'll be taking some hits unless you pull a Wisp or something
kek, get mad bro
HS sucks. They have the chance to take magic's basics and make a fun virtual ccg where the mechanics can be crazy af to make them different and original, explore possibilities that would be impossible for a physical cardgame and use the memorable Warcraft characters for it.
And they print this murloc.
HS sucks because nobody lets them print the good cards, and people dismiss perfectly great cards due to TEH META
It's a decent game, and compared to the other options (Duelyst?? Shadowverse?? HELL NO) I'm finding it top of the lineup
>murloc
Meant squid
>murloc
dirty rat is almost always excellent
it's not a card you play for tempo on turn 2, but a combo piece that you can use with MC tech or an on-board sylvanas to steal your opponent's shit, or to use with removal to take out their late-game threats by forcing your opponent to play them when you have an answer in hand
and to top it off, you get a FREE 2/6 with taunt
>nobody lets them print the good cards
Literally who? The HS dev team has the imagination of a brain damaged child. I think the most interesting mechanics we've seen in years come from C'thun and Yogg and their spaghetti code could barely hold itself together.
problem is that while its good against pirate warrior, its a dead card against a many number of decks
pulling a minion out of someone's hand can result in horrific worst case scenarios like say putting a druid's Aviana out
Kazakus is a pretty cool new mechanic, it's a little reigned in but still fun to use
the Grimy Goons are also pretty neat too
Cards like Auto-Pecker and Worldflipper that were discarded due to people disliking them
i find particulary hilarious the part where he says "turn 7 lethal" because i saw a pirate warrior doing a turn 5 lethal
literaly he got lethal before his opponent even got the chance of playing reno
>Charge
THEY
NEVER
LEARN
If you have the coin, play n'zoth's first mate and southsea deckhand, it's basically muster for battle on turn 1 with 3 charge damage.
I've been murdered turn 4 by a buffed weapon once. Ton of crap. I've found adding some of the 4/5s that cost 3 if the enemy has 3 or more minions to be a great turn 2 coin move.
that isn't even the worst
worst is if you have the coin, play n'zoth and use the fact you now have 2 pirates turn 1 to virtually guarantee you'll get to play the 3/4 weapon +1+1 on turn 2
you can still play the southsea later
>pulling a minion out of someone's hand can result in horrific worst case scenarios like say putting a druid's Aviana out
That's a best-case scenario. You're completely misunderstanding the card. You can force your opponent to play the cards that they are keeping in their hand when it's convenient for you. You don't play dirty rat onto an empty board; you play it onto a board with 3 enemy creatures with bran and MC Tech and you steal two of his dudes and instantly win the game.
That druid with Aviana is holding it until he can play it, then play Kun, then play every card in his deck and then kill you. If you pull out his aviana and then immediately kill it he now has no combo and probably lost the game.
+1/+1 gorehowl, bullshit
I've pulled Rag sometimes, however. As powerful as the effect can be, it can also be devastating for you. It's a very tricky one that in my opinion is balanced.
gorehowl isn't getting played in pirate warrior simply because the warrior kills you before he even gets to 7 mana
things like 5/3 fiery waraxe are ungodly horrifying even compared to a 8/2 gorehowl because of how fast they come out
Literally every TCG knows that a free extra summon that doesn't occupy your hand and that can istantly attack is pretty damn good. This isn't news.
Hell, even if it didn't attack it'd still be good.
>things that never happened
What if I told you (You) were the strongest card
It was on a stream a while back, saw it on HS plebbit. Real thing
That's why you put it out when you have a way to deal with whatever you pull.
So you don't pull it if you can't deal with whatever comes down.
Because you do shit like play him and then kill the rag with a word or something. Bam, you have a 2/6 ward and you just killed their rag without it ever getting hit by it. That is fucking game winning.
If you play dirty rat and don't have the ability to deal with what it drops, you're doing a retarded play.
It exists to fuck up the opponent's combos while giving a good body.
It is OP beyond belief as it has 0 counterplay.
Sounds like it's only strong because people don't know about weapon removal. I only have enough dust to craft one legendary and I dont have ragnaros. Not sure if I should get harrison as harrison might be too late then again I do ramp in my jade druid lul.
Make an Aya or a Kazakus
Side note
Weapon removal is not enough, most decks right now are packing 1-2 oozes because of how OP 4 turn lethal pirate warrior is.
You burn the hook and they equip the axe, you burn the axe they equip the bigger axe.
If you try to fish for their upgrade, well that's a turn you're not contesting their board filled with aggressively statted charges because they can and will kill you between turns 4-6, so that 2mp is precious.
Pirate War is ultra cancer right now.
Ar you telling me this little elf woman makes 100/100s every turn?
WTF
harrison is not sufficient weapon removal mate
first off its a turn 5 card against a deck which can actually kill on turn 5. So unless you're following that harrison up with a reno at best you've slowed him down a turn by taking away his weapon
secondly the pirate warrior just shits out weapons like its nothing, its not even a matter of removing his high quality weapon because they can actually buff even their lowest ones into killers
I'd believe it.
I'd say to craft Aya or Rag. Aya is a rising power card for Jade decks, but Rag is a clear staple and one of the greatest cards I own. The 8/8 with Charge is an amazing card that can easily win a game on its own or contest what would be a crushing loss
Bullshit.
Yeah, Pirate Warrior is clearly horridly OP at the moment. It is simply a matter of time before they are nerfed
That's not a real card
>plays a TCG where keywords define how to play the fucking game.
>bitches about how he skims cards and doesn't understand what they do.
Maybe you should go back to uno you pleb.
ah, nice reference
...
100/100 usually means a 1/1 in japanese games.
JPY 100 ~ USD $1.
They are so used to numbers in the hundreds it that all their "attack/defense" numbers are 100s also.
problem is HOW they're going to nerf it
guaranteed, mark my words, they're nerfing it through vanilla cards exclusively
they'll do something like give making fiery waraxe unplayably bad, nerf upgrade and destroy several vanilla pirate cards
solution: kill the new pirate, the 3/2 whilst holding weapon to be a 2/2, and kill nzoths first mate to be a deathrattle
there, thematically fine, not OP
you don't understand user
those are new cards
cards that sell packs
including a legendary from a new pack
however all those other cards are the ones everyone already has
so if we nerf those, then everyone needs to get the inferior replacements which are also in packs
remember the last "problematic" warrior deck that got nerfed?
Yeah, swarming is her gimmick and her whole archetype is full of chaining cards and has also the most op mana ramping in the game.
You could usually fill your terrain with like 10 monsters or more within 5 turns (which anyway wasn't even the best way to use her).
No idea how the meta is now with the new expansion since I stopped playing because I'm broke. I saw she got a nerf hammer and the spoiler cards looked good though.
nzoths first mate isn't new, and it's one of the main cards in the gamebreaking set, it would make sense for nzoth's pal to be a deathrattle minion too
perhaps, but vanilla commons are the ones that are first to be axed in virtually all situations
I pulled aya already when I bought my first 70 dollard worth of packs + the 20 free ones I got because blizz fucked up. Felt good man.
niiice, i got aya in my free packs too. looking for kaza sometime soon, just grinding out some casual due to people playing bad there and getting some gold for tomorrows quest
>Plebbit
Are you trying to suggest you don't belong there? Fuck off
FUCK getting cards in arena. I paid 150 gold to get 25 back and five fucking dust. Bullshit
What if I told you... I'm just gonna keep playing c'thun and chill at rank 12-15
This was with 3 wins, the time when you are supposed to break even, btw
>A fucking death knight
>as a shaman card
aight famolamo
Hearthstone have really good designers!
At rank 15 now, got to 14 but secret huntard obliterated me back to 15. How the fuck do you play around fucking Freezing Trap???
>1/1
>powerful
you retarded?
That was nerfed. Besides Totem Golem it wasn't very broken at all anyways. Shaman wasn't even close to Undertaker Hunter and Patron Warrior back in the day
0 mana 1/1 with Charge that is always played on turn 1? Yes, it is powerful and can easily snowball up
You break at 7
I meant the time where you get about the 50 gold you invested extra back
>turn 4
haha yes
lol
8/10 bait
unless you really are that fucking stupid of an asshole
tell that to savjs who's rank 1 legend, almost every game he uses brann+rat to pull out his opponents reno/kazakus then steals shit off their board with MC tech
I would make a cool deck with that if I would ever get anything other than four whites and one blue in my fucking packs
>tuskarr totemic wasn't broken
i'm laffing
what does it mean
Shaman used to be meme. You're new if you don't remember how weak he used to be.
are you saying tuskarr totemic wasn't broken? if you are i'm still laffing
Remember when the worst decks were said to be at Shaman tier
I got into MTG kinda recently, and I have been more curious about other card games, so I am now considering HearthStone. How hard is it for newcomers to get started with a good library of cards? Do you have any advice for newcomers?
Much easier than MTG that's for sure. The game starts you off with a ton of gold simply for starting, I'd say around enough to make one good deck, and the current expansion allows for you to get some new, really awesome cards as well.
I'm dumbfounded by how idiotic Team5 is.
Even after all these expansions, these years, they still haven't learnt that 1 and 2mana cards should be very weak.
Instead they keep printing this insane shit that closes games by turn 4-5.
Just fucking fire them.
>spending 70$ on HS
Dude you've gotta be suffering the most atrocious buyer's remorse ever.
>wasn't very broken at all
3mana spawn a 3/2 and 3/4
or
3mana spawn 3/2 0/3 draw a card
or
3mana spawn 3/2 flametongue
It was fucking broken.
Nice deflection.
1 mana 1/3 gain attack over time is balance incarnate
>tfw you still win games with basic starter decks
love salty wallet warrior tears doing the threat emote and running out the time.
PLayed against this 3 times today with my Priest, won all three, with one delicious rage quit.
First mate, patches, bloodsail, +1/+1 weapon bitch, kor'kron, arcanite reaper every single fucking time without fail. I wish I wasn't a poorfag so i could craft patches and be part of this cancer
As a magicfag who doesn't play hearthstone that card looks real strong.
