Why's everyone going bonkers over this trailer? Aside from TECHNOLOGY it was rather boring/cliche. It tells me nothing about the game. Man walks through wartorn city with baby. There are demonic looking soldiers. Spooky man and spooky things. End trailer.

are you fucking kidding me? the trailer was a masterpiece only Kojima could have concocted. I won't go into the details of the extremely subtle and intrinsically weaved symbolism, biblical references and post-rational meta-philosophy encountered, since I doubt you'd even be able to understand half of it, but know that you are terribly wrong. This trailer is literally the embodiment of the carefully crafted symbiosis of storytelling, foreshadowing and gameplay we all have come to expect from Kojima-san (this is a Japanese honorific to denote politeness, akin to Mr. or Ms.)
