titanfall 2's playerbase is actually pretty healthy on PC. I haven't had any issues getting into a game.

No, you can still use the server browser for community stuff, they just made valve servers matchmaking. Community servers died for a while because everyone was doing matchmaking, but things have probably evened out by now.

They removed all valve quickplay servers, which I thought were great additions to the game. It's now replaced with "casual" mode where you have to queue up for a 12v12. It's unnecessarily complicated.

It takes a few seconds longer to get to a server sometimes, but it's a lot better, largely because of the matchmaking.

Just get on a fuck skial server or something if you want to just hop on a server.

If you can still easily find a match on any gamemode (which you totally can) then it's not dead.

The problem with quickplay was garbage like autobalance. I'll gladly take an 8v12 game over one where I'm shoved onto the losing team despite helping the winning team the whole time.

It can be super annoying in some maps, and borderline uncounterable.

Some people were complaining that it was dead, partially because all the top players were on the same team or something.
