>Dark Souls blind
It's fucking great, 3 more bosses to go
Picking Golden Sun back up
Pretty cool so far only at the very beginning sequence, but the noise it makes for the text is kinda annoying
FF13-2
Just started making my way to the meteor in the beginning. It's already a hell of a lot better than FF13.
>Dragon's Dogma
I am failing to keep the micromanaging at bay and am terrified of my pawn developing into a shitlord. Other than that I'm enjoying it so far.
FF6 with brave new world mod.
It's pretty good so far.
>titanfall 2
>do these fucking mechs come with a manual
RADICAL
>Steep
Pretty comfy and fun, but not worth 60
DOOM
a bitter taste, fun but a little repetitive
Mount and Blade: Warband, pretty much my first time aside from a few hours I played years ago.
I love it but I can feel the grind coming.
Was doing a Pokemon Sun nuzlocke but decided to take a short break after Totem Lurantis summoned a toucan to nuke my Fletchinder
It's been pretty fun
I've been playing GTAOnline again recently.
It's still ass. All the garbage they added since launch and none of it has improved the experience. Stunt races are fucking hilarious though.
This game is surprisingly good.
>all those posts of anons literally complaining about a free game that isn't at all broken and doesn't require any MTX to win or be good
civ VI
needs some fixes, but i like the new mechanics
>Dwarf Fortress
I want to get off Toady's wild ride, but the continuity and complexity keep drawing me back in
Pokemon Sun
When does the tutorial and cut scenes end?
I'm on the second island and it's still going.
Finishing Dead Space 2.
Pretty damn good, possibly the best 2 yuros I've spent in a long time.
>when does the story stop
>I want more generic pokemon gameplay
it dies down but don't expect the game to stop using its camera like its a modern 3D game.
Was in a Pathologic thread on Sup Forums that appeared a few days ago and people convinced me to give it another go.
Its ok i'm slowly getting into it but I have no fucking idea what is going on.
Runescape
It's still fun
Dragon age: Inquisition
It's not as bad as Sup Forums makes it out to be
Front mission 3
It's fun. But it's got a ton of filler. Battle that don't need to be there and a story that's stretched out.
I'd be fine with it if they were just consectuve battles, but each of them requires ten minutes of plot before them. It drags on.
What story are you doing?
The USA story or the China story?
New Vegas.
So far better than Fallout 1 on the account on actually having morally complex characters instead of obvious good guys and bad guys.
Also not giving a time limit on a vault whose only memorable character is the overseer to an exploratory game helps.
Darkest Dungeon
Better, now that I know there isn't really a time limit before it's unwinnable, still stomping my dick int the ground but I think I can take the firt boss now.
China. I've been stuck in China for a long time. This route. The one with Emma. Is the default route, right?
Just finished Furi in Furi difficulty, gotta beat Furier as well
Game would be 9/10 sick but the walking sections give me absolute cancer, especially on multiple playthroughs
I always play the games much after the threads on Sup Forums about them are over and that gets me sad, did I miss some sick Furi meme?
>blind
>3 more bosses
How the fuck would you know
>Just finished Gray Garden
>probably the weakest of Deep Sea Prisoner's works, but still charming and funny
The China story has less missions but its more about building up your characters and learning about them so its dense.
The USA story, the emma one, has more missions and you collect way more characters, those characters get maybe 1 or 2 moments outside the actual main characters and then they are waylaid to the side.
Personally after playing both I liked the China story more since it paints the USA as dumbasses who just want to start a war with Asia.
Also you get Chinese Wesker dude and he is fucking awesome.
Maybe the best expansion I've ever played. I already know I'm going to feel incredibly empty inside once I'm done. I love Geralt's character and it's been a hell of a journey.
Just started playing the enhanced edition. Never played a classical D&D isometric game.
The choices right at the start have me worried that 20 hours in I'm going to find out I have the wrong build and have to restart.
i remember feeling that too.
also how are you playing it? I remember emulating it and being sad by how bad it looked at any sort of larger resolution.
>Verdun
>Wish they didnt make it on unity
Grand Theft Auto V
Bored out of my mind.
Xenoblade Chronicles X
The end-game grind is killing me, fuck these Time Attack quests.
>Pokemon Y
>trying to catch a ralts for "pokedex reasons"
>5% appearance rate
>1000 battles later, 3 appeared and they all died because of critical hits
Fuck this game.
FFXV.
It's alright. It has a lot of small problems but nothing that completely ruins the game, and a lot of small things that I absolutely love.
>Hate
How fucking rough the game is. From picking up shit to not being able to open a menu in the middle of some animations, this game needs a lot of polish but after so much time and the director change saying the game needs more time just sounds terrible. The writing is clearly just missing segments of the story that were put into Kingsglaive, and without watching the movie I'm not sure if I would really understand what's happening. The camera for the battle fucking sucks, and some of the longer animations for the Link abilities feels really weird with the enemies not being animation-locked and running up to swinging but doing actually nothing.
>Love
I think this is the first game that really nails the feeling of adventure. From almost needing to camp every night in safety from the much stronger enemies, to how tightly bonded the party really is, it just has a good feeling about it. Cooking meals every night and resting to level up gives a really good weight to what you've done with your in-game day, and kind of makes you want to set daily goals, such as finishing this hunt, check these procurement points, camp at this haven when finished.
Overall 7/10 it's alright.
>What are you playing
Pokemon Sun
>Your opinion so far
I just finished it and don't think I'll get into the post game stuff. I just feel like I'm done with it, which is a first because I usually like checking all the side content out. It was good and everything but the pacing ruins the replayability for me.
what is false swipe
I think I misunderstood you.
I'm fighting the Chinese army alongside the resistance.
I'm fighting alongside Emma, Dennis, Yun, Li, Marcus, and Linny.
Is this the real route or the side route? And which is more cannon?
>Grim Dawn
Got it from humble bundle a week or so ago, been having some much fun with it, currently on my first playthrough and doing it on veteran difficulty. Playing a dual pistol Pyro manner. Would recommend.
Playing Ocarina of Time, like every playthrough except the single one I actually finished I've lost all motivation to keep playing after entering Death Mountain because my itch to play a 3D Zelda never lasts longer than two hours or so.
I looked through the acheivements
Color Splash
Really enjoying it so far. Its flaws are things that COULD EASILY BE FIXED. Still a 7/10 game though.
DOOM
fucking great
use a quick ball
>Pyro manner
I meant pyromancer. Damn phone
FALSE SWIPE
QUICK BALL
SLEEP
SOMETHING
SHIT
not every boss has an achievement and they''re all tagged as spoiler achievements that you can't view without unlocking
I'm such a fucking autist that I refuse to advance the game until I catch all the pokemon in an area. I LITERALLY hvae only one badge and a level 35 pidgeotto. I'll switch to my Lv12 Pikachu once a ralts appears.
I looked through the global acheivments, they show all the spoiler ones
Honestly I dont think either side is 'canon' since they dont really bring up stuff in FM4, since FM4 is about the EU trying to stop a coup and the Americans putting down a South American insurrection but stumble across the presidents massive gold bar collection and go AWOL with all that gold.
You are doing the route most people do the USA story which is more story lite and more about battles since it has tons more fights.
The China story is the story you get if you dont go with Ryoga to the JDF base at the start of the game and you are attacked by the USA who are at the base, the same people in your team when you do the USA story.
If you want a more cohesive story that is more straight forward then try out FM4, FM3 you have to generally play it from both sides to get the whole story, still China is best story.
>Witcher 3
>You guys lied to me. Geralt and the writing in general is so fucking cringy. It's legitimately fedora-tier. "muh monster-slaying, morally superior /////pariah///// with the face and body of a god who faces so much discrimination he can barely fuck one girl a night. Boo fucking hoo." And let's not forget the "I'm a female boating captain, does that offend you ;)" lines that pop up every now and then.
Dragon's Dogma, like it a lot so far. Dialogue and story are kinda forgettable but the fighting and exploring keep me hooked.
>Pokemon Moon
Really good, more challenging than the other games
>Overwatch
D.Va is way too entertaining to play. I almost enjoy grinding for skins
>Revolver 360 Reactor
I am shit at shmups. I got past zone 1, but died pretty early at zone 2.
Underrail
It's pretty good but I'm about 10 hours in and still waiting for the story to start
Gotcha. Glad I saved the best for last. Thanks senpai.
>Let it Die
pretty good but hard as fuck rogue like
You won't be telling that when you get to floor 31
What are they selling in-game to make money off of that game?
Neptunia rebrith for third time
I just can't finish this game
you can purchase a 30 or 1 day pass, which gives various bonuses; among them are additional inventory slots, free elevator rides and a free decal
planet coaster
it's really good but I'm not creative enough for it and every park I make becomes a complete clusterfuck beyond the initial plaza area
Death marks which you can either use to speed up building or research new weapon, revive after you died or trade for gold and the store only works in us.
>Lost planet 2
It's great, everything is so over the top, great mech combat. People still playing online on the ps3, there was a ton of people this weekend. I just keep thinking, this is what vidya games are all about, damn shame there was never a lost planet 3.
Pokemon Showdown
I'm playing in gen 6 OU and I think my tendency to exclude legendaries from my team is inhibiting my success badly.
>Disgaea 3
It's ok I guess. Missing some of the ui functions from Disgaea 5
XCOM 2
Mediocre if compared to EU/EW, not really enjoying it.
>and every park I make becomes a complete clusterfuck beyond the initial plaza area
You say that like it's a bad thing.
>teef 2
It's basically everything I wanted the first game to be. I prefer the sci fi-ish elements to the supernatural ones in TDP and it's more about traditional thievery than exploring old crypts.
It's probably the casul in me speaking but I also appreciate that they simplified the level design.
rabi-ribi
the ost was made by 3R2 and as soon as i saw that my fucking heart was pumped with excitement so i bought the game and all the dlc. enjoying the game so far, really good platformer.
>Skyrim
I'm doing it on Master but want to do Legendary. Every time I switch though I hate how everything is more of a damage sponge and switch back. I'm indecisive and it sucks.
nothing
it sucks
Fuck of smuggles
Die snug smugfug
>osrs
pretty cool, got all combats besides prayer at 70+, bossing soon, am excited.
Some quests are fucking garbage though.
Zammy hasta is really good for certain bosses, Love the thing.
Halo 5, loving every second of it. Haven't touched single player. More guns than borderlands halo 2 on steroids
>What are you playing
Tomb Raider
>Your opinion so far
Great mix of set-pieces and non-linear exploring. Great and satisfying combat system, but a bit too light on the puzzle side.
Dragon Quest V on DS. It's really good, better than IV and on par with VIII. Those are the only ones I've played so far.
quantum break
fun playing as the big guy
Got the abby dagger myself, was left with 150k when I did, lel.
Love it, got about 25% of the drops when doing mole with my 85+ all cb dharoking mate. Accurate as FUCK.
FF XV
Fishing and hunting/10. Also, I changed everyone's outfits the second I got menu access. Noctis and crew look really approachable and normal when they're not in their pop band ensembles.
Noctis looks like a pokemon trainer in the casual outfit.
>Yakuza 4
It's great, fuck Tanimura though
He's a horrible character, especially compared to Akiyama and Saejima (Which is one the best characters in a video game)
>Pokemon Sun
Pretty good, I've been breeding Eevees and Pichus lately so I can gift some eggs to my little sisters on the weekend.
I'm enjoying it.
Rocket League
The playerbase becomes increasingly cancerous and buttmad as you're climbing the brackets. Usually it's the contrary.
> LET IT DIE
Radical, bruh.
>Steep
Great for this weather and should I say that its pretty damn comfy. Though paragliding is pretty boring. And I hate how other players try to get the topscore doing tricks by staying in one place instead of finishing the course.
More like a clean redneck, which makes sense given his hobby. I really hope I can find one with a bucket hat with lures hanging off of it for the authentic look.
Yeah, that'll be all the actual football fans playing, who tend to be arseholes.
Pharaoh Rebirth +
It's fine for what i payed for.
The Last Guardian
So far it's the same as the other team ICO games, some performance problems and overall no masterpiece, but definitely nice visuals, unique gameplay and nice music
What rank?
Neverwinter Nights
Man I forgot how shit Dungeon and Dragons 3.5 was compared to Pathfinder (and it's not like Pathfinder is perfect either).
System aside, it's alright so far (since I get to see the evolution towards Knights of the Old Republic) but I really miss having a party of three from KOTOR or a party of 4-5 from actual tabletop DnD. You need to carry around a rogue at all times (though I guess if you play a wizard or sorcerer you could cast knock over and over) if you want to get into all the extra areas (and loot), but that sacrifices your combat capabilities since the rogue enjoys trying to die as quickly as possible since you don't have the full combat control of your allies that you do in KOTOR.
I'm currently playing Icewind Dale EE. I like the game with the NPC mods, feels less empty.
I don't think any build can fuck up the game so hard you need to restart.
Ranked is shit anyway
SMRPG, just rolled into Monstro Town
When's the game supposed to get harder
It doesn't.
