it's already up?
AC1 is shittier. People only like it because of Altair. The actual gameplay fucking garbage.
Heh
AC1 has much better gameplay than 3. Not to mention the rest of it.
>AC1 has much better gameplay than 3.
If you think that the 3 gameplay options in AC1 is better than all the shit you can do in AC3, then you are a retard.
indeed.
Actually 3 is pretty awesome.
3 had a lot of things you can do, but the story missions and main towns were boring as fuck.
It's a shame.
>all the shit you can do in AC3
Which is very little, or as you say, shit.
1 is more focused, and as such, does things better.
>want to try a game
>mc is cool as fuck
>lol no you red now
>also you are stupid
>side-mission are worthless and don't even have plots and cut-scenes
>mansion sidequests feel like completely another game
>ship is linear and scripted like call of duty
>end up hating franchise

You mean sitting on benches, punching for info and saving the same people? Which you have to do every fucking time to kill your targets. Other than collecting flags there is literally nothing else to do which would be probably okay if the game wasn't 10-15 hours long. You must have never play 3. AC3 has ship missions(which are better than AC4's), liberation missions, homestead mission, hunting, collecting, and main missions that differ greatly in variety. You can not like AC3 all you want but saying AC1 has better gameplay when there's only 3 options that are not only tedious but repetitive, is just being stupid.
I think the bait and switch my indeed have been one of the aspects of the game that led so many people to hate it.
>You must have never play 3
Nope. Suffered through it twice (trophy whore).
>AC3 has ship missions(which are better than AC4's)
That's where we know you're trolling.
>liberation missions, homestead mission
Which suck. They're stripped back escort or kill x missions. 1 does those better.
Hunting is okay, but 4 and Rogue do it better.
3 had lots of decent ideas, but none were implemented well. 1 was smaller, but certainly more polished, and the better game for it. Also, you must have only played the console version of 1, because on PC there are at least 6 different info gathering missions per hit. That also brings it back to being an assassin game, which 3 is only an Ass Creed game (the fault of 2, though).
Bait and switch is fine if you going from good to good. Not awesome as fuck to "whur is Charells LEEE?!"
>That's where we know you're trolling.
not him but fuck you AC3 ship fights were memorable as fuck and the cannons had more ammo types
>more ammo types
This is true, but they didn't really mean anything. 4/R would certainly have benefited from functional ammo variations. And they're only memorable because they're so few, as opposed to being a core part of the game.
The legendary fights were certainly the most memorable of them all.
>are at least 6 different info gathering
You mean races and protecting npcs as they walk to a different location? AC1's gameplay is not fun. Not one of the options outside the assassination missions are fun and you have to be fanboy to think otherwise. What's the point of focus if the game is a chore to play? And are you really talking implementation when AC1 feels like half of a development concept and even proved to be one after AC2 came along and showed everyone what they really were trying to achieve? You are talking out of you ass.
Also AC3 ship fights are better than 4 because they are design around to be different base on which one you picked. AC4's plays out the same way each time.
Syndicate is the worst AC to date with Black Flag not far behind.
>Not one of the options outside the assassination missions are fun
They're lame compared to 2, but a joy compared to the missions in 3 (and the escort crap in 4).
Of course 1 was a dev concept, but that doesn't make it good. You actually get to be an assassin, instead of a petulant redskin with arduous missions because the environment was too stretched out for the gameplay.
>Also AC3 ship fights are better than 4 because they are design around to be different base on which one you picked. AC4's plays out the same way each time.
I bet you complained about Crysis' gameplay in the same respect.
I installed Syndicate last night. It looks pretty, the setting is nice and it feels overall better than the turd that Unity was.
It's still same old generic Assassin's Creed though.
I didn't like AC4 that much and thought Rogue was so much better.
>Fucking assholes giving away a subjectively flawed game for free
It does sound petty, but looking at the Ubi30 list, they really did make sure to pick games which would be of the least cost to themselves. Things everyone already has, or wouldn't want.
>it feels overall better than the turd that Unity was
Opinion discarded
Oh fuck off. When it comes to AC it's all a matter of "which one is the least worst?"
Rogue is much better. Even Black Flag's DLC is.
