The only real uncertainty is when will it be ported, but everyone knew it was coming.
They said a million years ago that there would be a pc version.
It'll also be the definitive version.

FFXIIHD is already a known quantity.
They've already ported a bunch of their other mobile ports to PC, so no surprise that some of the others would be coming.
Obvious demand for FFXV on PC, no surprise that they want to do that.
FFVIIR is Unreal Engine 4, so no surprise there either.

I don't think anyone doubt it would be ported to PC at one point. I mean, all FFs 3-14 + Type-0 HD are on Steam.

Great, but is it gonna be a good port? I've been battling with the messy port of FF XIII for a minute now, and it seems like no matter what settings I muck with I can't get stable 30 or 60, and the massive drops are really jarring.

this Tabata is retarded. There is no way SE would even let him do that. They might add some features, effects, and engine tweaks to the PC port version, but no way would they totally use a new engine.
