There are demos for all of the 3DS titles for you to try out. Most people seem to start with 4.

3 for the DS. Easly emulated, or 4 for the 3ds.

She's fine, but I've only seen the power of U2's Medic. In my sister's party of medics, she basically used Vital Hit to mow down any F.O.E. or re that stood in her way, with overheal boosting the damage significantly. I never used one in U1 offensively.

Ah, that's kinda sad. Playing 2u now, and I went with the princess healer. Melee medic sounds so much fun, and the Warmagus would have been so good for the Dark hunter. I really wished I brought a Hexer along as well.
But noo, had to go for the linkshark.

Linksharks are good but yeah give her an Ailment slash Grimoire so she can be useful with the two of those units.

My party is Prot/Link/DH - Prince/Alch. Ill look into the Ailment slash, I haven't really gotten into the grimour system.

Should I play Untold 1 or EO4?
I remember playing 3 for a while and I enjoyed it.
And is there a good begginer guide for either of these games? There are too many classes, skills, items, etc, and I get confused from the start. What classes do I need? What skills do I give them? Do I make a character from each class? Can I permanently screw up a character build?

Just QR a guild card with it from google or the general's pastebin.
Make sure to save your grimoire tea for when you have a lot of lvl 10 skills, because you'll need those grims for trade.

I would recommend 4 in that case. 4 have the best class balance of all the games. It's also one of the easier games in the series. All the classes are viable, but it's recommended having a tank and healer for the beginning. You could read up a little on party setups, but it isn't a big deal as you can respec at the cost of 2levels. You'll also get items that boost a new class to level x (30, 40 mayube 20, I dont remember)
Having party synergy is also a lot of fun, but you wount really feel the effect until l.30+, so just play around. Status allignments and such is really good and worth having (compared to a lott of other games).

You're so close, yet so far away from having a figurine. I really wish EO had more mechendize, and that it was still relevant. Everything is so damn expensive now.
