Actually now that I think about it, I have a hard time finding anything wrong with the souls community. They're all pretty chill guys. Even the invaders who try to fuck with you are forgivable because the game encourages that kind of behavior.

TF2 circa 6-8 years ago

Monster Hunter.

That's just the nature of the game

I guarantee you if it had chat and lobbies it would be full of trash-talking teens

Castelvania Harmony of Despair

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls were great before the git gud fags came along

delta force

Je suis monté

Mount & Blade Warband
Civilization
TF2 pre F2P
Demon Souls pre Dark Souls

Natural Selection 2

Matchmaking destroyed all the communities.

The glory days of mp communities are long past.

Warhammer Online

Planetside 2

EYE Divine Cybermancy.
It has multiplayer, it counts

Heroes of the Storm

Stalker

R6 siege. Its not that bad

>Wurm
>EVE
>ARMA
>Project Reality
>Squad

ez pz

L4D

>Horsefuckers/Furries still rampant
>Everybody was still using LMAOBOX
TF2 was always shit

Communities don't exist anymore, right? With automatic matchmaking there's no reason to be nice, or make friends, or find people of equal skill. Just try to dominate everyone, mentally and physically. then you move on to the next match. sad life

E.Y.E.

Killing Floor before the sequel was announced.

Battleborn, because there are none.

ArmA II until ArmA III came

My man.

fucking this, though it's as good as dead these days. 5-6 people on at any time and they're all korean, japanese or hong kongers so its hard to find people to farm specific stages.

It used to be really easy to get 3-4 people to run a stage 50 times in a row over a few hours just to0 make sure everyone got something they wanted. And they great thing about that game was that even shit players eventually learned what they weren't capable of and would sit outside boss rooms as to not kill the run.

I want a PC port of HD more than anything else

People join post their shitty quest and just say plz until you kick them.

I think fighting games generally have a pretty great community.

Monster hunter, Demons souls, thats about all that comes to mind.

Counterstrike: GO

Is the game still active? I wanted to buy a nice new multiplayer FPS and I'm torn between Siege, Battlefield 1 and Overwatch. Also I was thinking of getting MGSV but I've heard that the multiplayer is broken and pretty much barren as of now.

I absolutely agree, user.

Kingdom of Loathing

melee

And it's still getting updates

RASH B RASH B DAVAI BLYAT

Risk of Rain

Dark Souls is pretty good, minus the newer xd players in the past couple iterations

Rainbow Six Siege PC community

Well thats three off the top of my head.

The length of a generation is getting shorter and shorter. When we live our lives online, the progression of tech is the progression of culture

Rainbow Six Siege

Yeah it's still active. Game is solid, really fun. A little hard and frustrating at first but its a great game

Its getting updates?

...

>KF2 will never be unmade

>havent logged in since like 2009
it is still going pretty strong? I remember finally getting through my hardcore oxy run and then stopping shortly after. the only reason I even made an account in the first place was because it was one of the only game sites I could find that wasn't blocked at school but I ended up loving it for years.

i need drugs now

fur coat no knickers bitches

Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm/Rising Storm 2

Humans are assholes, so unless your game punishes them for being themselves it will be shit.

Only online game I ever played with a genuinely good community was ff11, and that was because if you were a cunt the whole server knew and the game became unplayable. Nobody would fucking invite you or join your groups

kek

That's fucking funny.

magic: the gathering.

Yeah, you basically just have to be willing to blacklist or ban or whatever people.

Classic doom

>matchmaking and p2p babies will never know that feel when you join your home server and all your bros, that one mysterious guy who never speaks but completly dominates the whole server, the 12 year old sounding guy (who is secretly a girl), the guy who only uses voice samples to communicate in voice chat, your rival (who dosent know that he is your rival), the asshole, the 3 guys from a clan who only work with each other, the rager, the guy who is constantly talking dumb shit, are on and you play a comfy game with them.
I feel old

And Quake

Is rains server no longer online?

SASRT somehow.

The community still thrives. The top tier always tries their best to help the low tier when they get in contact with each other, and the tournament group still has tournaments going on. I really don't know how this game ended up getting such a dedicated core of fans.

I know it did go down a good few months back, Don't know if it's back

>M&B warband
>people who play 16 hours a day killing you while using mods/scripts to auoblock

eh

any game that self moderates by pushing away newfag shitters and trolls, with content that demands it

HoMM

Quake Live if you don't mind everyone being assholes to each other.

Insurgency. Even people from notoriously scummy nations are really funny and friendly.

When people get together to play some Mario Party it's a pretty great community.

Until some motherfucker steals my star.

Uncharted 4

Diablo 2 Classic (not expansion)

Has some great mods

EDF 4.1

This is so true. I had a friend try to introduce it to me on a free weekend event but he didn't teach me anything about the game so I ended up not buying it because I would just cluelessly wait around until something happened. Then a friend from a different friend group tried to introduce it to me but actually took the time to explain the basics of the game and now I love playing siege. It's the best tactical shooter with the ability to develop your own strategies since people aren't emulating the proscene and there isn't a strict meta in place although I haven't played ranked yet

R6 Siege

Its tolerable at least

Napoleonic Wars.

>Insurgency
youtube.com/watch?v=bopYznK069c
youtube.com/watch?v=OO5XLKpAUpo

average insurgency players, everyone.

Insurgency is usually full of really chill and cool people
>Call of Duty Remake

Rainbow Six Siege when you don't get matched up with third worlders

Insurgency

youtube.com/watch?v=2EN82zVVQvM

Jesus fuck. Longest two minutes of my life.

Anarchy Reigns and the Battlefront 2 Christmas players from here.

Anyone remembers the Magicka community?

Define good

Destiny.

Red Orchestra 2
I'm gonna be sad when this game dies

Before the last sale and update, r6s

I haven't played for a couple of weeks, have I missed anything on Bloodbath?

That photo was taken a while back. I think early 2016.
youtube.com/watch?v=XmwquGUCJWY

I'd argue with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn/ Heavensward

But, keep in mind, that even there are autists

Racing Games.

Forza threads are some of the comfiest threads on Sup Forums and in general.

Oh, ok. Is Blood Bath's rising storm server still getting populated. I know everyone was boycotting Merrills cause the admis there are shitheads.

I assume so, I'm more of an RO2 guy I don't visit the RS servers that often.

Ace of Spades. Someone needs to make a server.

It was like that when there was only DeS and DaS. Even in the lifetime of DaS community has already been corrupted.

...

anything in VR

thanks to PKEKs

This, MH community would be great if not for frenchies. It would be dead without them though

Oh, ok. I had to leave Merrill's RO2 server cause 6 million pies and father lemons would keep getting into arguements about who was hacking and then I called one of the admins a nigger and got banned for a week.

>gif
what

I think, while it increased corruption, it wasn't only reason. The games have become popular, and that's usually enough to make community bad.

>Playing on merrils
>Ever
