Another Legacy of Goku game is probably just about the thing I desire most as far as vidya goes, as strange as that may sound. I put more hours into Legacy of Goku II and Buu's Fury more than anything other game I owned on my GBA as a kid. I'd be happy enough with an entry based on GT or Super, but one based on the original Dragon Ball would be amazing. The original series really doesn't get enough love when compared to Z.

just go in with low expectations, forget about powerlevel bullshit, and skip the movie rehashes and it's fine from the latter parts of the tournament arc onwards

What are you taking about, Dragon Ball Fusions came out like 2 weeks ago and is suppose to be pretty good.

It's a hit and miss type of show. It's basically what you get if you take the humor elements of Dragon Ball and implement it into Z. They also gave Bulma more relevancy in the show like she used have as well as reintroduced some past characters such as Emperor Pilaf and his followers (Mai is being paired with Trunks).

I remember when getting an anime-based game was a big deal on the NTSC-U region since it was very hard due licensing and it was like a dream playing a meh game like Final Bout.

Oh and the animations are much more lazier this time around

It starts out pretty shit since the first 27 episodes are just shitty movie recaps of BoG and RoF and then there is the universe 6 tournament which is meh, but the arc after has best boy Black and best god Zamasr which are fun as fuck and probably the most entertaining villains in the franchise.

Yeah they really fucking dropped the ball at episode 67, but I still liked the WORLD OF ZAMASU ending because it was so fucking surreal and bleak.

it's really good but since it lets you allot your stats yourself you can just pump everything into strength and one shot everything, so it's basically easy as fuck.
Still pretty nice though, they finally figured out how to make the character portraits look better than deviantart-tier trash, and they flesh out the RPG elements with equipment and shit.

None of this was good. Goku black is as lame as his name. Trunks is not important at all and him saving the day was literally Genki dama but with his sword.

Plus his design looks nowhere as good as it did during the Cell saga.

It was because of some funky buu magic or something, but even then the retcon wasn't needed it they even had some set up for it by unfusing kibito kai using the dragonballs.

Fusion in general has become pointless. Vegetto only got 5 minutes because SSBlue burned through the fusion's energy faster than a basement dwelling neet goes through tissue.

Considering that Potarra is supposed to be a superior type of fusion, SSBlue would likely cause Gogetta to unfuse after 10 seconds.
