Try the Raging Blast series. Didn't play the first one but 2 was pretty cool and I thought it was a decent successor. There's also Burst Limit which is an OK remake of the first Budokai but with a random assist cutscene gimmick and really awkward feeling controls. Haven't followed the series after RB2 so I dunno if the new games are good.
