I loved playing through Lufia 2 for the first time, put some 40 hours into it and didn't even get through that 100 floor dungeon. Attempting to replay it was just painful, though.
Who hasn't played Lufia 2.
It's the fucking bomb, except the puzzles.
I've met one other person on this board who's played it
Nigga everybody and their mother know and played Lufia II. Now Lufia 1 is the obscure shit
...
Are you serious, nigga? I play the fuck out of this game. Several saves with level 99 on everyone. I also defeated the master slime a few times. I had to let the SNES run for a few days and we had occassional power outtages back then which was pretty infuriating.
The puzzles were pretty good. Atleast my 10 year old self enjoyed them.
Fuck Lufia 2, i dropped it when best girl left forever.
I was playing this earlier today.
I always get kind of stuck at the point where I reach the Ancient Cave. I want to get through it and get all the good items, but at the same time I know it's going to be hours of pretty repetitive floors.
I think I should go down to maybe the 40th-50th and just call it quits. The lower floors are brutal because most enemies get multiple attacks per round.
Can someone explain to me why it seems I can never get my capsule monsters beyond level 2? They are always asking for items I either can't get yet or unique items that are very useful.
Dekar comes back at the end.
I think i may have played this at my cousins house and threw up while doing so
Lmao it's not fucking that bad
Just feed them swords and shit from weapon shops, they don't need the super expensive shit.
Just buy weapons until you find one they really like.
Or use save states.
are you high? is one of the best rpg from the snes and has the best soundtrack

>Can someone explain to me why it seems I can never get my capsule monsters beyond level 2?
Capsule monsters require specific items (or more correctly, will only take items from a list) in order to grow past level 2. If you're just shoving whatever random item you find into them, then nothing happens. You need to find an item which makes them "happy" (fills the meter) and then you can feed them enough of that to get them to grow again.
The higher the monster level, the less items it will take to grow further.
The end of this game still gets me choked up ;_;
>that one optional sliding platform puzzle that had the chests on it
I never did do that. I think it requires like over 50+ moves or something. Fuck that man.
