I think so too . Seems like Bandai thinks the title sells but as long as we realize it has the same engine and director the fans were there. Could of just kept making new games with the Souls end but it was too hard for them.

It was but it certainly benefits from people not having played DeS so they couldn't have noticed the sheer amount of things they took straight from it and rehashed into DaS. Despite that, it's still a masterpiece of a game right up there with DeS and DaS.

I don't know how you can say that DaS 2 had no clear vision while putting dark souls 3 above DeS of all things. At least DaS 2 had its own theme or forgetfullness and quite a lot of original stories and whatnot, whereas DaS 3 literally "hey guys, member this shit from DaS?" aside from extremely few occasions such as the firstborn, gwyndolin or that retardation of introducing yet another daughter of gwyn they took straight out of their gaping anuses.
