hell, at least life is strange had an engine that could handle more than 1 thing happening at a time

>Believe in the whole 'journey is more important than the destination' thing.
>Disappointed by the ending but remember that 90% of the game was good and memorable
>Come away with a favorable view of LiS

I feel sorry for the people that allow endings to ruin their entire experience.

Still the dumbest fucking choice in the game.

Lets kill thousands of people so I can chill with my BFF.

Whoooooaaa! All these choice look like they'll add up to something but they never do! Truly the subversion of this preconceived notion is what makes this game a masterpiece

"Your choices matter" is the worst meme in video games. Developers aren't going to bother writing more than two possible endings when most people will finish a game one or zero times.

I feel sorry for people that think being a cuckold (like you) makes them superior to others some how.

That's because games nowadays are so poorly made that nobody will want to play them twice

>Missing the entire point of the game

Chloe was always fucked, there was no way around it. Messing with reality (and fate) just made things worse. It's a classic tragedy (in the ancient greek sense).

But most people don't even beat games one time. If steam achievements are anything to go by, less than 25% of buyers make it to the halfway point in the average game. The majority of AAA gamers play a game for like 3 hours and then forget about it.

The ending is awful but I don't mind it when games come down to just one or two different/main endings, but at the very least they should show the consequences of your actions throughout the game even if they don't affect those endings.
I'd settle for a fucking slideshow, just let me know what happened to the other characters. What you get with the Chloe ded ending isn't anywhere near adequate.
>Everyone is either sad, Frank or Larry David

Then shouldn't you make the rest of the game good for those who actually want to see it or are we gonna Mass Effect 3 every game?

Deus Ex only had three choices in the end
does that make it a bad game?

This. It doesn't have to be Way of the Samurai, it's completely unsatisfying to dismiss player choice by having all options reach the same conclusion.

>pay $60 for a game
>only spend three hours on it
developers are spoiled fucks

All choices matter to different people. Arguably one of the most important choices in ME1 was in a dialogue with Ashley when she asks whether or not you're religious.

On the the other hand, a AAA game is never going to allow "bad ends" and so despite choices supposedly mattering, "the show must go on", so you always have to be able to see the end of the game regardless of your choices.

Shame it looked worse than MGS2, a PS2 launch title.

>I feel sorry for the people that allow endings to ruin their entire experience.
But that's literally how human brain works when remembering things. The ending is what creates the emotional imprint, so if people found the end upsetting they will associate that with the thing as a whole.

>b.b.b TELLTALE
Defend yourself instead of attacking others, genZ trash.

glass him

No one but autistic faggots played this shitgame.

I dont think Sup Forums would ever defend cracked.

...

what choices did Trevor have in life?

Telltale cucks are the worst.

And this is why Chrono Trigger is the best open ended game of all time. It did what devs have been promising and failing to deliver on for decades.

>telltale gets a free pass
I think that ran out quite some time ago.

I thought the game was doing fairly well up until the ending. All it managed to accomplish is robbing the player of what little agency they actually had in the story. I'd say that their criticisms are fair.

>not killing thousands of people for your bff
you got no bffs do you?

>Sup Forums unironically likes shit in the OP and telltale games

Safe to say that the neo invasion was a complete success.

Hosts are only allowed to make choices that stay within their loop.

All my normie friends liked this
I did too but I actually am an autistic faggot.

>don't kiss chole
>only 19% of people chose the correct option

What a bunch of faggots, never cuck warren.

Spotted the Warrencuck

>Didn't kiss Chloe
>Didn't kiss Warren
>Would have kissed Kate if giving the choice

>kissing chloe
>literally the biggest and most manipulative bitch around

Were (You) looking for this?

>chloe
>emotionally manipulates you the entire game no matter what you do
>not a bitch

>Believe in the whole 'journey is more important than the destination' thing.
>Disappointed by the ending but remember that 90% of the game was good and memorable
>Come away with a favorable view of LiS
>Then I remember that it's basically Steins;Gate but shit
>stop viewing it favorably

>Believe in the whole 'journey is more important than the destination' thing.
>Go to the gulag because they gave me a lollipop in the murdercarâ„¢

why is this allowed?

This is the way I'm trying to remember Mass Effect 1,2 and 3
but I can't force myself to enjoy that shitty ending
and to me it ruined not just the third game but the entire trilogy.

the game really fell apart for me with Chloe. shes such a crucial character but shes a massive cunt that stands for everything I hate in a person.

>6 episodes all packaged in one game, not having to wait for the next episode to come out
>Choices actually matters

Nips already got it right, why the fuck western devs can't just copy the right concept of 'choice' from them?

Because that would take effort
