Tríed the Camarilla Edition for shits and giggles, and I've been having a blast. I like the taste of whoever chose these reskins. She would totally love KMFDM.

Gangrel also get celerity if you're sweet on Beckett, right? So they're the strongest in the game considering they get extra disciplines. Sorta.

Nonetheless, I've been looking into the other ones.
I'm sorta thinking about making a VTM:B MUD or MUSH, that would eventually let you take advantage of all sorts of bloodlines and vampires, including half-vampires and half-ghouls, as well as just playing really swole humans or ghouls, with a shitload of politics and intrigue built in.

Personally, if I had only three disciplines to choose from, I'd go with Bardo, Obeah, and Vicissitude. The ability to cure all wounds, to trancend death entire and restore life for all creatures, as well as reshape those who would wish to change themselves. Hell, Bardo eventually lets a Vampire walk out in the sunlight like a mortal for short periods of time and resist Torpor, and receive full nutritional value from animal blood.
You could have, quite possibly, one of the very first kind-hearted, pacifist kindred.

You could not have all those things at once if you aren't a munchkin. All three require different, mutually exclusive mentalities to really advance in. To progress in Bardo, you need to spend every day rejecting the idea you're even a vampire, or that a vampire is really any different than a human. To make it in Obeah, you need to have a penitent obsession with making due with your damnation. You just can't maintain even mid-level humanity with high Vicissitude. It's a role-playing game.

Kindred don't need the basics of society. They don't need shelter, food, water, security, healthcare or electricity.

Though I suppose the game suggests they integrate themselves into society to feel more like humans so they don't turn into mindless feeding beasts.

Kindred basically need everything humans need because they use them as food.

They very definitely need shelter, and I'm sure they want security and electricity.
Also they hide among humans because if they didn't they'd be killed very quickly. Just being fast and strong doesn't save you in the 21st century. If they were living as beasts with no regard for secrecy or disguise, they'd be rooted out of their holes by groups of humans armed with flamethrowers or something. Even if they get away, they'd eventually be forced out in to the daylight or cornered in a building with the sun out.

There weren't any options in the installer as I remember. It's been a couple of years since my last replay and I used to watch a friend playing the Camarilla Edition so I thought I'd fire it up and find out for myself.

You could remove the reskins yourself by deleting the relevant files from the game/mod folders, they made sense but there's two locations (vampire/models/character and some other) so I suggest looking it up.

Kindred view their brethren who feed off animals the same way most people do about those who subsist off trash diving.

They're honestly not that strong. They're much closer to humanity than the other splats. Some of them are a force to be reckoned with, but even they would probably lose against an Antediluvian.

By game mechanics, Antediluvians are more plot device levels of power unless they meet something more nasty. In saying that though, the Storyteller system is so hilariously easy to break a hunter could punch the Antediluvian so hard and send it to the moon.

The biggest thing Hunters have going for them is that when second sight is active they are flat out immune to all supernatural illusions and attempts at control, which is pretty much half of all the powers in the damn game. A smart hunter cell works like Batman. They'll study you, retreat to their lab and invent something, paint it black then fuck you up.

The conversation animations too. It's a really weird trade off how the waist-up/face animations are godlike compared to Skyrim, but as soon as the camera gets pulled back, we get shit like those Sabbat's shooting animations in the tutorial.
