She wasn't bouncing on my dick.

what's the problem? She's lending a helping hand

She thought her brother was dead, and descended into a spiral of paranoia where she believed everyone else was in on it.

What was his fucking problem?

Can't wait for the Nonary Games to be released in Steam.
I'm actually gonna buy them now.

Isn't that just a bundle of the trilogy? Does that contain new features?

Is that a funyarinpa?

Looks more like a dog

>letting go was merely inferring she wanted cum explosion in her baby hole

man it all makes so much sense with this truth

It only contains 999 and VLR and 999 will have a chart just like the others.
I don't think there's any other thing added

Bundle of the first two games.
youtube.com/watch?v=RI_TupcxjOw
As far as I know, just higher resolution, and voice acting for the first game.
I loved this series and tbqh I pirated the first two games, so I want to buy them now.

Just 999 and VLR.

>just got 999 for DS for Christmas
I wish the text scrolled faster, but otherwise I love it. Are there multiple endings?

Yes--you need to go through one ending to get the true ending, as well

Where's all the porn ? Fucking hell Japan you suck so much dick it's unbelievable.

Phi has incredibly nice thighs.

Yeah, have fun escaping the first room like half a dozen times, and know that the later games fix this kinda annoying part. At least the text you've already read is skippable.

Also if you're totally unfamiliar with the series, fuck right out of this thread before you're spoiled.

Thanks, I'll close the thread now.

What the hell's a funyarinpa?

Where's the rest?

She wasn't best girl

Neo-Sup Forums ladies and gentleman
It's on r34

You mean you don't know? Apologize! Apologize to the funyarinpa!

>we live in the timeline where ZE3 was fucking shit

Fucknig japs can never write trilogies or conclusions worth a shit. Why do they all suck so much dick during endings?

【F】

end of evangelion is the best conclusion in fiction

At least we have the confirmation that Phi is worst girl by virtue of being a ginger.

Can you shut up?

>I dyed my hair white because ???

She looks godlike with white hair though.

>>Neo-Sup Forums ladies and gentleman
>he doesn't get the reference

>>>Neo-Sup Forums ladies and gentleman
>he doesn't get the ruse

That she does, before they gave her those ugly carrot colored eyebrows. Only for one lame twist.

>>>>Neo-Sup Forums ladies and gentleman
>he's not shifting

So that's why she had orange eyebrows.

>>>>>Neo-Sup Forums ladies and gentleman
>He doesn't get my complex motives

>>>>>>Neo-Sup Forums ladies and gentleman
>he doesn't know where Kyle is

There's a lot more added. 999 is basically built from the ground up, it'll have all re-made art to look good in HD, and it will have voicework too. That's a lot of stuff, it'll be WAY fucking better than just playing it on a DS emulator with shit graphics blown up to a massive size with tons of blur and no voices or charts.

Please don't make me remember

Because Gingers are fucking disgusting, and white hair fits her much better.

ZTD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>VLR

ok aksys, but how are you gonna handle the screens? Everything points that it'll be handled poorly.

For me it's
VLR > 999 = ZTD

>the remake has almost no new stuff!
>actually the remake has a bunch of new stuff, it's basically a full remake from the ground up
>ok aksys

Sup Forums, ladies and gentlemen.

VLR>999>ZTD

The 999 remake has the potential to become the best though if the voice acting's good and the flowchart makes the game progress more smoothly.

I'm so sad the series went down the shitter with ZTD. I hope Uchikoshi is making a PROPER third entry in the series.

ZTD was the worst, story-wise and gimmick-wise. MIND HACKS and COMPLEX MOTIVES are just shit, and really didn't need to be in the series. The fact that the game is chopped up sucks too, there's no real character arcs or development outside of the very end of the game because both the player and the characters are generally un-aware of the game's timeline the entire time they play, outside of hints saying "well X is dead so maybe this is after Y or Z chapter".

The game has the absolute shittiest twist. I get that the series loves to have a twist that has to do with the medium of the game, and that's a good angle to go with. 999 had a gimmick for the 2 screens where they are technically 2 different views, and that's pretty neat since you wouldn't expect it and it's logical enough. VLR did a great job, it took advantage of the VN format for one twist, and it used the dual screen with another twist with the whole digital eye forshadowing, and to top it off it used the "protagonists are invisible since you play as them" thing beautifully, with foreshadowing from the first scenes hinting at the twist. ZTD goes with a moronic "haha there was another character but we literally always hid them with trick camera angles even when we clearly did wide angle shots of the full room that should have shown the character" twist, which isn't taking advantage of the format of the game but simply going out of the way to hide information from the player. It's cool to have a twist where you can't see the protagonist, because it's NORMAL for a VN to not show you the protagonist. It is NOT normal for a cinematic game to just flat out deceive you and never show you a character. They didn't even fucking NEED Delta, they could have had Sean turn out to be the villian and it would have worked the same way (Yes, I am your child Sigma, I am your brother Phi, I uploaded my brain into a computer and downloaded it into this robot kid, which makes more sense than me living 130 years).

Yeah, have to admit VLR fooled me. Though I was a bit suspicious that they weren't showing Sigma's face when 999 had no issue in showing Junpei's face. Also he was the only character in bleeps while everyone else had VA, but yeah, it was a well-done trick.
Delta felt like such an asspull, though. Even IF the game had subtle foreshadowing, it just came out of nowhere. It didn't feel as "oh snap" as old Sigma twist.

Also in the studio escape room made no sense. Q team never wonders why Delta's face is not in that panel alongside the rest of the other teams.
Also they never wonder why Sean has no x-pass, or why HE makes the decisions instead of the team leader, Q. Or why he's a 4th member while C and D teams are only 3.

I thought Zero Escape was done for with ZTD?

It is, but a man can wish.

>Though I was a bit suspicious that they weren't showing Sigma's face when 999 had no issue in showing Junpei's face. Also he was the only character in bleeps while everyone else had VA, but yeah,
Adding to this, I never suspected anything.
I believe they showed Sigma's arms at one point, and they looked pretty normal for someone young, so I just guessed everything was ok.
Same with him not having a voice actor. 999 didn't have, so I was glad the others did, that I didn't mind Sigma not talking.

>VLR did a great job, it took advantage of the VN format for one twist, and it used the dual screen with another twist with the whole digital eye forshadowing, and to top it off it used the "protagonists are invisible since you play as them" thing beautifully, with foreshadowing from the first scenes hinting at the twist.

user, I love VLR, but that twists was as retarded as ZTD's. You mean to tell me Sigma never scratched his eyes or felt something weird? You mean to tell me he never felt his skin was wrinkly or his hair felt off? There were more reflective surfaces in the game than just that pool of water in the garden. That twist was absolutely retarded. I agree that ZTD's was even worse, though, but they're both terrible.

They only showed it in-game during the flashback with him in his car, so there wasn't an issue here. Only time he was barely visible was in the camera footage section with K dragging him into the CD, you can just barely make the gray hair.

>Also they never wonder why Sean has no x-pass, or why HE makes the decisions instead of the team leader, Q. Or why he's a 4th member while C and D teams are only 3.
They never showed concern of Sean not having an X-Pass since, the game just ended when he was dead, and/or, whoever killed him also killed Q.
I might be wrong, but Sean never makes a decision, does he? He just gets MIND HACKED but Eric wouldn't have allowed him to make any sort of decision in the first place.

he decides during the vote and the yellow button, also to inject or not radical 6

Wasn't that because Mira told him to? Since she was hired and shit.
And since Eric just follows her, he would allow it.

His arms looked buff and meaty, but they were fake, so they were easy to fake.

>Though I was a bit suspicious that they weren't showing Sigma's face when 999 had no issue in showing Junpei's face
Yeah, that's part of the issue with sequels to mystery/twist-filled games. You expect the twist, so you get suspicious of things. If VLR was stand-alone, you wouldn't have gotten suspicious of it most likely because plenty of other games never show the protagonist. I think they handled the twist just about as well as they could, by throwing in some things like still-young Clover but also having characters say things like "you must have had a lot of drugs to look like that at your age", on top of characters specifically calling Sigma shit like "Grandpa" a few times. A great mix of foreshadowing and things to make it less obvious.

Delta felt like an ass-pull because it WAS an ass-pull. There's a difference between "let's take advantage of the VN format to deliver a powerful twist" and "let's deceive the player to deliver a twist". Saying "oh, there was a deaf and blind dude in a wheelchair the entire time but we always hid him with camera angles" isn't a fucking twist, that's just moronic. They did tiny bits of foreshadowing for it with things like "Q" being marked alive in the options menu (like Phi was) after the babies were born, but that's not something a player would normally ever see and it certainly doesn't make the twist any less of an ass-pull. The game does it's best to hide the twist with bullshit like "let's put a room with portraits mocking every character, but also lets leave out the character we're hiding from this even though having a mysterious 10th tile would probably be cooler".

If you like ZE, play Remember 11. I enjoyed it a lot more than Ever17, mostly because of the way better pacing and atmosphere.

I forgot. During D-end 1 and C-end, or VLR ending, is Q marked as alive or dead
Sean died there and Q escaped, so he should be left as alive.

>I believe they showed Sigma's arms at one point, and they looked pretty normal for someone young, so I just guessed everything was ok.
His arms were fake, which is a pretty good way to handle it. The player would be aware Sigma had fake arms a LONG time before the big twist of his age comes up.

>Same with him not having a voice actor. 999 didn't have, so I was glad the others did, that I didn't mind Sigma not talking.
That's another way the game took advantage of the VN format, it's fairly normal for games to have protagonists without voices, even if the rest of the cast has voices. It's obviously not like that for all games, but for a series that didn't have voice acting in the previous entries it's totally plausible for them to have decided the MC didn't need a voice.

My nigga. This game is dope and has qt in it.

Love the way they handled choices as well. Many bad ends that compliment the setting a lot, especially in SPHIA.

>user, I love VLR, but that twists was as retarded as ZTD's. You mean to tell me Sigma never scratched his eyes or felt something weird?
Well yeah, that's a part of the plot. It was a plot point that the fake body parts Sigma has (fake arms and eye) are extremely advanced to the point where they're literally integrated into your body and you can't tell they are fake from your own perspective alone. Suspension of disbelief is a thing user, it's fine for the story to say "and Sigma never questioned that his hair felt weird because he was more focused on the fact that he's going to die in a few hours if he doesn't get the fuck out of here".

>You mean to tell me he never felt his skin was wrinkly or his hair felt off?

He mentioned feeling off a bunch of times, and you can't forget literally everyone had a disease that messes with perception and they weren't even on Earth. Sigma spent his entire life planning the game, he obviously did whatever he had to in order to make sure his younger self didn't realize he was old. Maybe he was pumped with extra drugs.

>There were more reflective surfaces in the game than just that pool of water in the garden.

And Sigma didn't ever stop and think "let me check my hair real quick". They hinted at this with the mirrors in the game ALL being conveniently broken or un-usable, and Sigma isn't the kind of person that would care about petty shit to begin with.

>I agree that ZTD's was even worse, though, but they're both terrible.

ZTDs was a complete asspull that didn't even matter, while VLRs twist took advantage of the medium and was well foreshadowed and well used but required you suspend disbelief a little bit. They aren't even close.

I'm going to marry Akane!!!

Akane is for ________Junpei_____

>required you suspend disbelief a little bit.
>little bit
Mate, sigma had old man hair, wrinkly skin, and a robo eye jutting out of his face. I dont buy that he couldn't figure it out for a second. Nearly as bad as the delta twist.

It's not that he couldn't figure it out, it's that he didn't assume something was wrong with him. His old man hair wasn't long enough for him to see it, his arms were fake and looked just like his young arms, and he fucking obviously couldn't see his own eyes. The game made it clear that any mirrors were broken or ruined, and Sigma had a dozen different problems with the nonary game, the ambidex game, the disease, occasional killers on the loose, the bombs, the fact that Zero was one of them, and several other threats depending on the timeline. When was he supposed to stop and check his fucking hair?
