Did it live up to the hype? Was it worth the wait?

Did it live up to the hype? Was it worth the wait?

Yes.

Yes.

SoTC babies will disagree.

Yes. It's the most finished game I have played all year.

Yep.

only game this year I finished

I was about to creat a thread right now.
This game is a masterpiece

Yes
The third act of the game was so perfect it dispelled any of the problems it had!

Looks like Sony's shilling on Sup Forums again.

SOMEONE GIBE A SOLID ANSWER RIGHT FUCKIN NOW

its more fun if you pretend theyre actually happy people

Trash/10
Sony Bronies on suicide watch

gameplay is legit trash but everything else is good

there, done.

That game is GOAT

It's pretty good, but shitposters, hipsters, and tinfoil hats will insist that you're a shill if you like it.

It's a good game.
Nothing lives up to the hype.

Last Guardian was good
FFXV was good
Doom was good
Let it Die was good
Dishonored 2 was good

Fuck you, I don't give a fuck

But you're right.
Only nostalgiafags and jaded outcasts will disagree

No and no.

*throws barrel at Tricos face*

Yes and no. It was pretty much the game people expected it to be.
We got the heartwarming adventure with the bird dog cat and the floppy child we were promised and that's all well and good.
However nothing is going to live up to seven years worth of hype, and certainly not a game with these kinds of performance issues and terrible controls.

felt like a slog through a stone ruin covered in moss. no variation in any respect, trico was the only redeeming feature

So, did you guys hear about the concept artist from SotC?
Seen this? Heard about this?
Yeah, apparently in his free time he likes playing tanks in MMOs.

I guess he just really likes drawing Agro

why did trico eat the kid just to spit him up later? why did he do it twice?

It wasn't as good as either Ico or SotC, but I did enjoy it still. Kind of underwhelming after all this wait but eh, it was pretty much inevitable.

...

That's an alright joke.

he was programmed to. Trico was a genetically modified weapon, repurposed by the "Master of the Valley" to get kids for some reason, i'm guessing fuel? Brainpower?

No.
No.

The boy was adorable and the voice acting was cute. TORIKERRRR!

Honestly, for me, yeah. I was expecting fun puzzles more in the vein of Ico than Shadow of the Colossus and I got exactly that, and the relationship with Trico is unlike anything else I've felt in a game. The fact that it took seven years to make didn't even cross my mind when playing it.

It was a perfect game. Exactly what i expected.
