Can someone PLEASE give me a rational reason as to NOT believe these weak hardware specs for the Switch? Like this is definitely just a rumor and not confirmed by anyone else right?
I need to see and believe in facts that tell me the Switch will be more powerful.
I don't how else to portray my feelings but this Mario image sums up how I feel about the Swtich specs if true, I want Nintendo to go back to the N64/GC where they had good specs and amazing games.

IT's not about graphics as much as it is about more power meaning more physics calculations, more enemies on screen higher FPS without sacrificing other visual qualities etc

Why would someone lie in such great detail about it in such a bad way and then why would they report on it?
Wouldn't making the Switch sound bad eventually lead to lower revenues overall by them because less people paying attention to games on their site,

I don't like MonHun and I'm not one of those people who just started playing it because Japan buys it in droves
why care this much? think of it as a handheld that gets more powerful in the dock.
That's fine. Personally I don't give a fuck about western games. And lots of Japanese developers are talking about the Switch which makes me willing to see what happens.
They talked about the Wii U as well so I will believe it when I see it.
I also think it's silly not to give any fuck about Western games since they make the likes of DonkeyKong, Metroid, etc
these RUMORED numbers are from early dev kits which likely will have older tech than the final product. not to mention, clock speed isn't everything, it doesn't tell you the whole power. another rumor mentioned the switch can do WQHD but that's just as credible as this rumor so take everything with a grain of salt. if the switch does end up slightly weaker than you thought why care that much? more powerful consoles have basically been giving smaller and smaller improvements over time. it's still going to get all the nintendo games that will only be slightly better if it had muh specs

but for reals though, it will run 720 at absolute best in handheld. I think it'll run at a slower lower custom spec because of the screen/edging, like the Vita.
that's fine, as long as it does 1080p docked, I can play Pokemon & Zelda & MonHun & Metroid (>implying) on that.

Because sites like this don't think long term, especially if they can pin it on someone else if it's wrong. Some guy makes up crap for (you)s and calls it a "leak" or a "rumor" or other such and clickbait sites report it as news.

specs don't guarantee success. a large and varied game library does. and no, specs don't guarantee a good game library either. they have all their dev teams working on it so the library will be bigger than 3DS and Wii U.
