Who knows? Maybe if the VR release had gone off as planned, we'd have more girls now. As it is, the reworking of the VR seems to have thrown them for a complete loop. The LTO releases have gone completely bonkers, with no actual swimsuits and no malfunctions/destructions in weeks, nothing but non-swimsuit LR outfits, odd quirks in the release schedules, and going from 2 suits every 2 weeks to just one.

It's actually really solid as a fighting game, and it actually does have a reasonably sized playerbase, you just wouldn't tell because the most vocal people are the ones that only care about fapping to the girls, as almost every DOA thread will show. It sure shied me away from the franchise at first before I gave 5 a shot on a whim and it turned out to actually be really fucking fun.
