Final Fantasy thread

Which Final Fantasy game have you beaten the most number of times?

FFV, three times. The only one that has replay value to me.

FFVII. 36 times. The last time in 2006. It's nowadays my fourth favorite FF. The runner-up is Lightning Returns. 11 times.

V, four times.

Beat Tactics, VIII, X, and XII twice and will replay XV when the DLCs drop. I rarely play games more than two times.

V, literally like 40 times. Four Job Fiesta is a hell of a drug. Runner up is VI - on top of my normal playthroughs I sped through the game a few times while trying to mod it with FF3usME to make it more suited to my tastes(I couldn't, the game has way too many hard limitations and broken shit) and like 10 playthroughs of Brave New World, which did what I wanted to do a million times better in every single way.

I despise XIII-1, but I did really like both sequels (for mostly different reasons), after giving XIII-2 a go 1½ years after I bought it, since XIII was so bad.

I've beaten FF1 four times, I think. The only others I've beaten more than once are 2 and 6-8 which I've beaten twice. I don't replay JRPGs very often unless they're really short.

Exactly my thoughts.

XIII-2 was my GotY when I finally played it, and I really disliked XIII-1.

Didn't like LR quite as much though. Think I'm about due for a trilogy replay to see if my opinions still hold.

Second most is VIII at 3 times. The rest of the series I only beaten once.

IV probably since it was the only Playstation game I had for a good number of years. Then it got the GBA remake so I played that, then the PSP one, then the DS one, then it came out on PC.
Fuck why do they rerelease IV so much?

It's Square's favorite and pretty much set the formula for future FFs.
