Am I the only one hyped as fuck for Ken Follett's: The Pillars of the Earth? The next point & click by Daedalic.

>videogame based on a book
what other examples are there?
what do you guys expect to see in the game?
do you think we'll get to play as multiple characters?
>maining as the priest
i hope the game is focused on building the cathedral and resource management though i doubt it
A gorillion? Stalker, the Witcher are the ones that comes to mind right now
Witcher
Betrayal (antara/krondor)
Companions of Xanth
Just off the top of my head.
Taken from the trailer :
""The Pillars of the Earth" is a story revolving around the fictional town of Kingsbridge and its rise, switching between the narrative perspective of a young noble called Aliena, Jack the ambitious architect and Philip, a monk"
I gotta say though, I thought this was from the creators of that other game: the banner saga
now that I see that it's just a conventional point and click game, I'm way less interested
>tfw you thought it was a tactical rpg about building a church and medieval sieges and shit
feels bad
didnt the books came afterwards?
>no tom builder
fucking bullshit
no
sigh, user
as long as they aren't as retarded as the last couple of Deponia games.
>Deponia
Its the closest we ever get to the 90´s legendary point and click games.
>that artstyle
It looks like every fantasy/medieval concept art that gets regurgitated on artstation but with a bit more time and effort put into it.
Not impressed.
Deponia is cutsey and fun and all, but I just played Chains of Satinav and Memoria, and holy fuck that was great. I hope this one will have a story as compelling.
>Daedalic Entertainment
Same people who published Blades of the Shogun, right? Fuck me, do they want to save video games in Germany? Succeeding so far.
Dunno what's Blades of the Shogun, but I was surprised to see it was them to published the recent Shadow Tactics
Oh, it IS Shadow Tactics. Who the fuck calls a game by it's unnecessary subtitle
I liked them, yeah, hated the ending and the 4th game which was another "fuck you".
