I have large adult hands instead of tiny baby hands, dual shock is more uncomfortable.

Left stick higher is preferable, as you rarely use the D-Pad in games, its treated as a group of secondary buttons for minor things.

You do usually have to hit the ABXY face buttons often, and its more comfortable to raise your right thumb up off the stick to hit them, then it is to go down to hit the buttons.
That is why I don't like the Wii U's set-up with the right stick above the buttons.

Almost all 3d games require to use the face buttons as well. So your dualshock pictures dont make sense.

That red circling is retarded. Not a concern at all. The problem is that the thumbsticks are so close together, the horrible DS3 triggers, and the tiny as fuck controller shell. If you have hands that aren't Nip/little girl, the 360 is way better.

I haven't used one, but personally I bet the best config is the WiiU Pro controller.

One thing I love about the 350 layout is that I can reach over with my right thumb and use the D-pad easily (thereby switching weapons while moving when I play TLoU multiplayer).

Nigga it's Bluetooth, if your computer has a BT receiver it's gonna work the same way a DS4 would (without the need of a wrapper). The wireless adapter is only needed for the 1st gen controllers.

There is zero counterargument against that.

Springier triggers with a wider range of motion for analog acceleration/braking, left thumb rests naturally on the left stick for handling, and face buttons are available on the right hand side for things such as shifting gears, handbrake, etc.

As a general gamepad, the DUALSHOCK 3 is the best, period.

Sony fucked everything up with the DUALSHOCK 4. They made the grip way more ergonomic, but completely fucked the select button by turning it into a dedicated "share" button, having the touchpad be the new select button (which feels like it's going to fall apart from being pressed too hard), and the lightbar is just straight retarded and takes up space.

The lightbar makes the controller literally unusable on PC over a wired connection. The new position of the microUSB port fucking bends the shit out of most microUSB cables as soon as you set the controller down.

So effectively, you have a controller that has a touchpad wasting space, a lightbar that fucked up the positioning of the microUSB port effectively making the controller wireless only if like to set your controller down while it's plugged in, and no proper analog triggers on top of that (they're still pressure sensitive buttons with tiny-ass L-shaped retention springs holding the triggers to the controller, giving the illusion that the triggers function properly.

The DUALSHOCK 3 was so perfect. Why did they have to fuck something up by downgrading in every department but the ergonomics?
