Yes
You never beat Vectotman, did you OP?
only vectorman 2
I might try on an emulator today.
It'll probably be too hard for me to make it all the way but I'll bet I'll have fun.
I MADE IT TO STAGE 4 FAGGOT FUCK YOU
Why do you make this thread OP?
someone never got past stage 1
hold a for paper airplain
use roadkill to find items
dont use the same move twice in a row to combo
BE SKETCH TURNER!
I still think that this game's attack vs block mechanics are godawful
Thanks.
Sup Forums isn't letting me upload my screenshots taken from Fusion for some reason so it looks like I won't be able to upload screenshots.
...
Haha, I made a paper airplane and it ended up hitting me as well.
Duck n roll fagget
Is this game on the Nintendo Classic?
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Died already.
I didn't realise my airplanes used my health like in Streets of Rage.
Time to play smarter.
Alright, made it through the first level.
I'm beginning to get the hang of this.
I converted the screenshot in paint.
I don't know how to get Fusion to export screenshots in a Sup Forums friendly manner.
Uh-oh.
Style over substance. Amazing visuals and charming and original concept but brought down by dull, repetitive gameplay.
Beat-em-ups are a dull genre that's hard to stay invested in. They need more variety or more elements to stay interesting. Look at astro boy omega factor. The mix of beat-em-up and shump levels allow neither to be tiring as they balance them well. River city ransom is another good example with its rpg elements.
Comix zone could really use a remake. Such a amazing concept wasted on a genre as repetitive as beat-em-ups.
I am completely bamboozled by the fact that to this day no one has made a hack that would remove taking damage just from hitting things. Seems like there aren't many Sega fans around.
It'd make the game too damn easy. It's already 30 minutes long casually, why make it shorter.
I didn't realise there were no continues.
This is going to take me a lot longer than I thought it would.
Am I right in assuming I should be using Roadkill in every room to try and find extra items?
Yes yes yes. If you don't know where all the hidden items are, ALWAYS use Roadkill.
Word of advice as well, the game has a good and bad ending.
I'll take that on board.
Although, I'll be happy if I can just get the bad ending.
I'm doing this legit so if I die, it's back to the start.
They should have made a comic book adaptation out of this. Such a waste.
they should have made a video game genre out of this
such a waste
I don't stream though user, no one would watch me.
did you fix your shitty emu filter?
Different people
left
I'm offended you would think I'm using a filter.
I died again but now I now what route to use and I learnt that if you duck under the horizontal spring attack, it will rebound and hit the enemy for massive damage instead.
I'm learning.
Hi Peter
>A Comix Zone thread
fuck yeah dude
Literally who?
Someone should create a quintessential 90score list and place that game there because it just screams that decade.
Easy-peasy lemon squeezy.
At least I don't have to worry about my route through the first two levels.
Crazy Taxi would belong on there without a doubt.
Whoops forgot my picture.
you know you can paper airplain that faggot from the panel to the left and use the barrel to the right to light to light his ass on fire right
Didn't even think of that. I was just leaping over the fireballs with a dragon kick, hitting him again, jumping back to the first point and repeating until dead.
I'll try that on my next run because I am almost certainly going to die soon because I didn't go left first thing and find the rocks to block the hole.
i thought it was shit and not worth putting in the effort to beat
I haven't played that game in 10 years tho
All right, I only have to start from the beginning of the episode if I die.
This makes things much better!
Whoops, forgot my picture.
Again.
I'm too excited from not having to start completely from scratch.
...
Great game.
You faggots make me play again.
