Megaman Starforce is 10 years old.

10 more days lads Because Switch will get 6 Monster Hunter games and no Megaman
Those looks pretty neato
>2017
>MM9 & 10 still not on a handheld
Why isn't there a new Darkstalkers?
The joints are very noticeable though
Who needs one when we have Mighty No. 9?
ACTUAL FUCKING ORDER
>MM 1-10
leads into (eventually)
>X1-5
Split this fucker in two because endings
Zero remembered by X
>Zero 1-3
>No dumb human x reploid shipping
>AHAAHAHAHAAHAHA FUCK YOU ZX
Zero erased by Dr. Light
>Legends 1&2
>They get him off the moon everyone happy except not because a crazy X might still exist
Stop being so greedy, you just got Mighty No. 9 :^)
Joints are fine on robots and android figures. Only turns me off when it's humans.
This. It's made by the exactly same guy who made Mega Man after all.
It's a candy toy, cheap, small stuff.
>five years and a half on
>still mad
God fucking damnit, that was no way to treat your fans. Why not release the demo at the very least? It was complete, someone had played it. Capcom went full spiteful at Inafune like Konami later did at Kojima.
>"We hope that you will continue to support the Mega Man franchise."
I would've loved too, had any other games come out since.
There's some fangames being brewed. Some of which might be cool.
I'm making a Battle Network fangame in low poly 3D if anyone likes that sub series.
Megaman legends is my favorite.
But megaman don't have joints though
Goddamn that's an ugly figure
That posability though
The face and hair look retarded.
This isn't a figure thread, it's a mega man thread, so maybe we should stay on topic.
>>AHAAHAHAHAAHAHA FUCK YOU ZX
Megaman ZX was really fucking good also one of the best megaman OST
youtu.be
I believe Mighty number 9 came out in 2016 that is your new Megaman game
That design is so cool. Shame it was used on a turn based RPG. Would have been so baller for an action game with flashy animations and whatnot, like DMC4.
Because they don't sell. For all the bitching for a new Mega Man game there is when one is actually made those fuckers never buy it.

Raidou is an action series.
>Split this fucker in two because endings
But that's wrong you fucking maverick.
Oh, my bad. Well, it doesn't really look like a great one. And no cape physics?
Y'know I think I'd have gotten over this by now if they actually bothered to hold to the "This is a look behind the curtain of videogame development." angle when they released the statement they had cancelled the game. I'd definitely have been pissed off at the time, but with an actual, tangible reason I think I'd be left with something to accept. Even if it was "Sorry tsunami damaged our servers" or "Project went over budget" or "Our executives changed their minds and we couldn't meet their new criteria by the deadline".
Instead the only thing anyone who can speak to the game on the US side says it was "Because Reasons" and even the form letter announcing it included a preemptive Q&A that reads "Q: Why was the game cancelled? A: See above".
Oh hey, I remember you, I played the demo with Fireman/Torchman a long time ago. How's progress going since then?
>"b-b-b-but X6 was good, guys!"
>never mention quality or lack there of regarding a game
>just that splitting the timeline in two is wrong
Work on your reading comprehension.
...
You're a fucking idiot.
That piece of shit not only is a insult to Mega Man but to the whole industry itself.
It's a good game. It was also a PS2 game, so no cape physics.
It's been good.
Added lots new good shit and am gonna put a first version of the game within the next few months.
Also local multiplayer

I just really hope it isn't something stupid like the other developers are in full japanese m-muh honoring Inafune's leave by not making another true Mega Man game without him
But he never did a single bit of programming.
Not the person you're talking to but he did art. Akira Kitamura did the original Mega Man sprite and then Inafune drew art based on it.
He later was game designer for X and director for X2/X3. Also director of Ducktales (you know the one, with the moon song).
Not necessary to honor his leave
>mid 2000s
>fan of Megaman and my friends are too
>enjoying Battle Network 6
>jokingly say they've been making too many Megaman games
>friend says there's no way they're ever gonna stop, good big of a franchise
I'm sorry Sup Forums. I did this.
I think it's because they honestly just don't know how to do one that will actually satisfy people and themselves. Clearly a lot of fans want to see Mega Man come back on home consoles with modern graphics, but how would you justify an eight stage (plus end stages) game at full retail price? Obviously a way to circumvent that is to just leave it as cheaply made sprited games, but then you'd still have to sell them at appropriately cheaper prices too which might not even solve that issue. They also just did it with the last TWO Mega Man games in a row, so if they tried it again, they'd obviously get called out on being cheap cop outs.
On the flipside, they could try something completely different, but doing so after so much time with no primary Mega Man game would lead us to a Federation Force situation where fans get pissed off over "misuse of the franchise" or something.
Legends 3 seemed to be a thing that they were doing with the fan input thing, but communication between developers and fans was going about as smoothly as Mighty No 9's before it got canned.
So what CAN they do with Mega Man that will actually satisfy fans, but still actually be profitable and worth the time, effort, and investment in the eyes of Capcom?
Are you guys retarded? When he left he even said he wanted to see Mega Man Legends 3 completed and had to pull that demo shit just to get it greenlit at Capcom.
Not an Inafune fan or somethign dumb like that but it's not his fault there's no Mega Man games happening.
That's good to hear man, the game looks pretty promising.
Keep at it and best of luck.
>Also local multiplayer
You didn't.
Inafune poisoned the franchise by leaving. Now Capcom can't use it without losing face.
Maybe online one day. No promises though.
Of course he would say that but you still haven't understand that this isn't about the honor of respecting his wishes to the franchise but the honor of not having someone important to the 25 year old team project, Japanese are stubborn like that.
>Then what about that fugly new Mega Man cartoon and upcoming shit?
Probably a totally new team has been trained after all these years and are ready to take the reins
Are you saying they intended to honor Inafune's legacy by cancelling 3 projects he was involved in after leaving?
-Rockman Online
-Mega Man Legends 3
-Mega Man Universe
C'mon man. Don't be like that.
Hey now Buddy, don't forget about my good friend Mega Man X: Command Mission!
You're going to get your ass sued by Capcom
No, he poisoned it before leaving. No one wanted to touch the franchise with all the bullshit he was doing in the company.
It's better than nothing
When has that ever happened to a Mega Man fangame? Name one. Seriously, do you think you're the first person to bring this up? I respond the same way every time: If Capcom wants me to quit, I'll quit. If they don't care, you get a game. Why complain?
>inafune leaves
>Capcom cancels megaman more
>He makes fundraiser
>The sheer support of that made enough money to show people wanted fucking megaman
>If made by capcom it could have some better and made a better end product
>But instead they keep cancelling games
>And merchandise (Protoman helmet cancelled)
>And trying to make an animated cartoon
>With little megaman in his head
Capcom needs to stop no wanting money
What are some new games that manage to recapture the feel of the classic, X, or Zero series? I've got an itch to scratch and I can only replay the originals so many times
With Capcom, it's more likely that they'll officially bless and advertise the fangame like they did with SFxMM. They're not Nintendo.
Azure Striker Gunvolt (especially 2) for the Zero feel. Made by the same developers.
Same developers as Mighty No. 9, Mega Man 9 and 10 and the Zero/ZX series.
>make mega man game
>doesn't sell well and makes small profit at bast
>make monhun game
>receive far more to put into the bank than what was used to make it
MonHun is the EA Sports of Japan. They can remake the exact same game but add a different colored dinosaur and it'll still make mad bank.
no, mighty no 9 is comcept. inticreates didn't develop the game.
Comcept isn't a game development company, they just make... game concepts. MN9 was indeed developed by Inti Creates, as code monkeys.
Be careful what you wish for
Exactly, which is why they'll never bother with Mega Man. Especially since reusing assets from the last game just means more of that money goes into the bank. I would have said Street Fighter is the same way but V happened.
Inti Creates made 100% of the code and assets. Only stuff they didn't do is character design and original concept design. They're not infallible.
MvC:I's story will heavily revolve around X and actually cause the Megaman continuity to reboot.
Megaman was canned before Inafune left
Yeah but they're jewing hard with V. Season passes and you have to pay to unlock fucking alt colors.
It's smart though, they add the introduction of "fight money" meaning you can technically get your colors and characters and costumes for free if you grind, and play the game often to get all the biweekly challenges done, but if you're impatient then just pay. Most gamers are impatient, so they'll pay.
>Unannounced megaman game cancelled
>Fps game cancelled
>Online MMO cancelled
>Universe cancelled
>A legacy collection for GBA cancelled (like we need more of this anyway)
>Legends 3 cancelled
>Merchandise being cancelled
>Probably cancelled cartoon too
A powerhouse that pumped more content out regularly now has a reputation of "oh new game? Probably going to be cancelled" and is by far the most infuriating thing especially when they only have monhun and street fighter dlc just barely keeping them alive
Honey Woman a cutie.
>A legacy collection for GBA cancelled
It would've been the GB Mega Man games that have never been re-released otherwise (outside of Virtual Console).
Is this a jojo reference?
Thanks.
That was all part of Inafune's master plan to replace Megaman. He created a market hungry for MM games and tried to supply it with his cheap rip
You don't do deals with the mouse if you're just barely alive.
Capcom (and Sega) isn't as shit as Nintendo, which is why they never interfere with harmless fan games.
>Capcom can't be assed to release a new Mega Man game
>Still regularly releasing new Ace Attorney games with no signs of stopping
Don't get me wrong, I love Ace Attorney and I'm glad it hasn't been shitcanned, but it blows my mind that that series is still trucking along while Mega Man is in the retirement home
Can't wait or Megaman Denuvo
they should put some textures and shaders
I don't want it to be like Nu-Male Postmodern
>really fucking good
It was good, but it was just Zero again, this time with backtracking on a where-the-fuck-do-I-go town+overworld, and unlockable X if you beat the game.
The music was fine, but I liked the sequel's music better: youtube.com
Come to think of it, I like the sequel better in general.
capcom is not Nazitendo
HAHAHAHA
Capcom never learned that more =/= better with Mega Man. It's one thing to refine the formula and introduce new mechanics with each game, but if you end up releasing like 6-10 games in close proximity to each other, you're either going to burn the fans out quick, or get them too used to the same thing, meaning genuinely good spinoffs like Legend are less likely to catch on because it's too different.
So was splitting the games in two and having multiple endings for a fucking action game with no overarching story planned.
The details should be HD. I mean the lines.
Mega Man faggots are as autistic and whiny as your average Sanic or MLP fan.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHA
What?
shut up normie
are you ready for some surgery
20XX looks pretty good for that MMX feel in a large procedurally generated world. Other than that there's not much unless you wanna try MN9.
>cause the Megaman continuity to reboot
God I hope so. The MMX series is in desperate need of a reboot. And I don't mean MHX.
your turn
Mighty Gunvolt has that classic Mega Man feeling going, especially if you play as Beck
Capcom should just hire Wayforward to make it.
Too bad he didn't fly so good.
>Wayforward
That might be cool, but I'd prefer M2. It's not like Konami's keeping them busy.
Too many choices.
Its coming this year based on the new cartoon
You are going to wish he had remained dead
