2/3, I didn't really like Wario World all that much. Is Dragon's Dogma good on PC? I tried the PS3 demo way back when and thought it was interesting, but never really paid much attention afterwards.

Thanks for the rec, I'm not picky on framerates. I've suffered through a lot worse.

DD is simple fun forgive me for simplifying it but the combat is satisfying and scaling a beast, tearing it apart and knocking it down has never so enjoyable. Classes are varied and each has different playstyle. The game is made in such a way that you're encouraged to try all classes out in one playthrough. The gear has more effect on your stats than actual base stats. You also have pawns, your companions who fight alongside you and learn from your style of combat. You can also heavily customize them and tailor their behavior to your liking. The story is kinda cryptic and scarce until lategame, the DLC Island has more of it though and the Island has far more challenging shit for post game.

I recommend it if you're looking for an action rpg with emphasis on combat, it starts a bit slow and may be somewhat difficult in the beginning since you have shit gear but when you reach the main town, the game opens up a lot.

If you want to whet your appetite on Nier/Drakengard, this guy is covering all the games, and his analyses are quite good. I recommend playing the thing itself and then diving into all its chimera and side material (which there is no shortage of thanks to Taro's prolific writing). Check it out if you can.

2nd best combat in a final fantasy and in my opinion the best story. I love coming of age stories and how FFX handles Tidus' was great.He goes from a self-serving whiny bitch to someone who literally sacrifices himself for the greater good.

Also I'm not saying Rocket League was bad its just that I played it and it wasn't really my thing.

I appreciate this a lot, and I'm probably going to take my time finishing each game. Especially since there's an upcoming game coming along which I'll probably play a while after it's released.

For the record, I like Japanese games. But people who only like Japanese games tend to be lameass motherfuckers. Variety is the spice of life, and video games are no different.

My advice to you all that are upset with your grade is to branch out into new stuff. I mean, if you only play 40-80 hour RPGs or timewaster sims like Rune Factory you have the time to spend playing something weird. The worst that happens is you lose a day. Not all that valuable anyway.

Well to be fair, I don't think Demon Gaze is that amazing but if I can blog very briefly, during the time that I played it, I worked at a shitty job which granted me only 4 hours of actual free time. I was a poorfag with no TV and only handhelds for a time so a DRPG like DG helped me cope with the stressful days. Also I pulled a legendary clutch on the final boss a while ago so that's still fresh on my memory. So it's more of a personal guilty pleasure /blog

I'm sorry, but not many Western games stand out as favorites of mine. Not to say that I dislike them, but they don't come close to the ones on my chart, in my opinion. I'm not sure what your bias is all about, mate.

It's not that I don't like western stuff, it's just that all the ones that I hold in the highest possible regard and have stayed with me have been Japanese ones on portable platforms. I don't think I should try to force some western games in my grid just for the sake of it, when there's so much more Japanese stuff in the "almost-made-it" runner-up list.

You should play more games user. Having two series with two entries each in a 3x3 is quite silly. I'm actually having trouble to make a decent 4x4 covering my favorite games with only my favorite entry for each series.
